Please don't stress over release of videos. Easy to see you are time constrained by task priorities. Under normal circumstances you are one of the more consistent KZfaqrs so we know you will return to that modus operandi when you can. The fence construction is magnificent and will be the envy of those driving past. Great effort both of you.

It's good that you talk about how long and boring some farm/ranch projects can get. The most frustration and mistakes I see newbies succumb to is how much time most vital infrastructure projects take. It's clear you've done this fencing project to last several decades. It's been a pleasure to watch.

The paint will come off after a while with lots of extra hand washings with some Lava soap but don't break the skin trying to remove it with chemicals. Your skin grows back fairly quick naturally. The fencing looks great, now you realize why you pay so much for Rebecca's help, she's a great supervisor with the knowledge of correcting mistakes easily lol. She's so much help around there. We don't get tired of watching your fencing videos because you run into different situations on each new fence project and you show how to make the best of those problems with great ideas. Stay safe and keep up the good videos and fun you all have making them. Fred.

I love how you take most our comments as well meaning even though you get inundated. It makes sticklers like me go easy on you. But here's a quick comment: -I flinched when you had a semi secure ground clamp above your bare head. One could argue that the pipe and lots of things are ground, but spring clamps are made special, they have some evil put in them. They slip and jump if a wasp farts, and the head is the last place you want to close an electrical connection with anything.

The same thing happened to me with the paint. My solution was to gently scrub my hands every day, or twice a day, with a Scotch-Brite pad and apply hand lotion at night. New skin will quickly grow in, and the painted skin will sluff off. Good luck. You guys work hard. I am totally impressed with Rebecca handling the sacks of concrete. Wow.

Yes, I use a roll of poly baler twine stretched between two points. The distance between those points varies. I guess it's humidity that affects the distance of how far it'll stretch without sagging to touch the ground. I use a piece of rebar to pin the string aside while I drill a line of holes. I have flagged where I want the holes, then rolled up the string, but those flags have got expensive.

Wood or metal posts are like truck axles. They need support or bearings at ends and center (tire & differential). You can put sackrete in the bottom, add gravel or dirt (tamp in place) and add sackrete at top of hole. This will hold the post as well as solid concrete, save money and maybe extend the post life as it can "dry" out in dry seasons. Looks good!

We use a product called OSPHO. It is a solution containing phosphoric acid. It is fairly thin and can be applied with a garden sprayer. Ospho is a rust converter that turns the pipe black afterward. It does give you an extended time period for top coating. Give it a shot. You will be amazed. And since the solution is fairly thin, it will flow all the way down to the pipe/ soil interface. By the way, Evan, you really need to cap those posts before painting. If you leave them open, the pipe will collect rain and cause internal corrosion in the pipe.

This advice is late, but may still help. Pour a small amount of light grade (new) motor oil on your hands in normal (lenghty) hand washing pattern. Work it in for a few minutes, then gently wipe hands in soft cloth. Put some top/sub soil in a bucket & turn it into a muddy paste. Grab handfuls of this paste & again hand washing procedure. When ready grab a good amount in both hands, go sit in the shade until you feel it drying on your skin. Rinse off /repeat mud application & you should see a big difference. I used this practice, after working on old ,greasy tractors.
