I've seen this man before. He's a beautiful human being, an authentically good man. My mum always told me you can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat animals and this guy blows me away. What a special person, I wish everyone loved animals like he does. What a wonderful place the world would be! Animals are the best thing on this planet and they deserve the best from humans

I hope not, because the dairy industry is arguably the cruelest and also is the meat industry, which is where where all of those cows end up whether as a calf, or a 'spent' exploited 5 year old mother. The egg laying industry grinds up male chicks alive and the hens live meager, excruciating lives. I say these things only in case you didnt know, because if you do know, you're probably not supporting these massively cruel industries. 💞🌱

@@vegancolleen Hi, yes i know what a horrible life animals have when they are kept for their meat, eggs, milk or fur. 😢 I have started to use less and less animal products over the years, and also don't eat eggs, or products with egg. I used soy yogurt, but because of a chronic illness i can get osteoporosis. That's why i started using yogurt again, but only organic. I also don't eat cheese any more because there is vegetable cheese available, in almost every store. That's why i very much agree with you! People should start treating animals much better, not see them as utensils, food suppliers etc. I think it's great that you don't use animal products at all, and i believe that with my way of life, i have already prevented a lot of animal suffering. 🤗

I'm an old(ish) lady who has loved animals all my life, and if there is anything that makes my heart sing it's a grown-a** man who loves animals as much as I do. My husband is one of those and I've just watched this vid and met another one! God bless you, and may your kindness be contagious to the whole world! Also God bless that sweet little piglet.

I had fostered 2 cats and was distraught when one became suddenly ill and the vets thought she may need surgery but fortunately was okay but needed 24/7 observations when she came out and it was so scary, so I cannot imagine how Todd of Arthur’s Acres deals with the emotions when the animals in his care ever need to be rushed to Cornell vet because the animals become your family and are so dependent and rely on you. We have to do whatever we can to help them come what may. It’s such a responsibility caring for others and your personal life takes a back seat when their needs become greater than yours. They are like children and need our protection and love at all times. This sanctuary is my favourite. They make sure the needs of all their animals are met without hesitation and they go LIVE daily for an hour mostly around 6pm EST 🇺🇸 … Hope to see you there 👍❤️❤️❤️ You get to see all the property and the animals enjoying their new lives after being rescued from horrific situations

I was raised on a pig farm, but I was too young to understand what happened when the baby pigs grew bigger. My favourite thing to do back then, was to get into their bed and play and snuggle the baby pigs. We also had a boar named Duke. This boar was so friendly he let me ride on his back around our yard. Broke my Dad's heart when Duke passed away. He sat against the side of the barn, cradling Duke's head and cried.

I’m just worried that nobody investigated that dog who bit the pig and the dog’s owners. Sounds like ignorant people and a volatile situation and the fact that they capped the vet bill at $500. If you don’t have money to take care of an animal, don’t get a pet.

As absolutely heart crushing as it is some of us don't have the money! I ended up a single parent and was a vet tech so I learned to stitch up my kids too because bringing them to the doctor was too expensive! I'm so grateful for people like him who can help. Btw I've got 12 cats I'm catching and fixing it's a labor of love.

you are so right! that’s why i love these geobeat stories, but get so upset at some of the comments and the way people equate animals with kids/people. People, especially our kids, should come first, and most of us cannot afford thousands and thousands of dollars of vet bills…or even ONE thousand. That does NOT mean we don’t love or pets or that we shouldn’t be ALLOWED to have them, nor does it make us heartless human beings, as so many commenters freely classify us as. I raised four kids alone, first as a widow, and then the fourth when my husband left for greener pastures before our baby was a year old. So vet bills and, in most cases, doctor bills, were not something that could be permitted.

@@nkhart5520 only neutering cats, dogs are a different kettle of fish ;) and absolutely no spay, that's a lot more involved. But if you look up cat neuters you can see what I'm talking about. The 6 vets I worked with did not fully anesthetize male cats to get neutered, they got a mix of intramuscular drugs that made them loopy. The neutering itself takes 2-4 minutes.

I'm sorry, but if you have the time (& *_'$$$'_* ....to feed, worm, de-flea & PREVENT reinfestation, & provide actual proper surgeries that a vet tech should NOT be doing! (You can cause infections & illnesses & *death* !! By doing 'back yard surgeries'!!) then your KIDS, ACTUAL HUMANS, CHILDREN, THAT *_YOU CHOSE TO BRING INTO THE WORLD!!_* are being short changed!! Be the best _actual_ parent you can be, before trying to fix the animal world. The road to hell, is paved by 'good intentions'! 🧐😔

He’s the sweetest looking pig I’ve ever seen, he’s lucky to have an angel in you, looking out for him and his family. Kudos to the veterinarian surgeons and nurses too.💗.

What a fabulous human being and his love for all animals not only the one's in his care is plane to see. Mikey's so sweet and it's sad that the people who handed him in to the Vet's were happy enough to have him euthanised with hardly a second thought. Arthur you're a gift from God for all animals. This man is such a beautiful, selfless, compassionate being. 🥰💛 Mikey is adorable and I’m elated that he will get to live the rest of his long life in peace and safety, and experience unconditional love, care, and nurturing. And he’ll have so many friends that I’m sure are all well trained.
