Cosmog is in the special research. All players will always have the opportunity to catch as long as they log on, no matter how long it takes them to complete!

I’m gonna say that they’ll give us the second evolution for the October research so we can get both. That would be the only thing that really makes sense with how this is unfolding. I say this because if someone transferred their Cosmog, they’d never be able to finish the research. Let’s hope this is how it goes anyways 🤞🏻

My brother has a Solgaeo which was a good option due to Solgaeo having a better chance in raids while Lunala is only good for gyms

i got so unlucky today. i got a moltres as my first daily incense spawn today it fled then 3 spawns later i get a silosis so i catch it then theres another one so i catch that one too and exactly when i go back to the wild i see a zapdos disappearing so i didnt even get to have a chance of catching it and this was all on the same incense i got 2 birds on one incense

Mystic: The reasearch is so laggy! Also Mystic: Hoards 200 pokemon in reasearch and leaves them for 2 years

My Cosmog is a hundo so i am extremely lucky and happy with that, and if it evolves i am prepared, Lunala and Solgaleo are coming at raids but Cosmog is an one time only Pokemon i might have to keep it in Cosmog form for the flex.

Love it that he’s playing a little more strategic instead (using mega’s and maximize the research stack) off just “yolo”.

Cosmog is also untradeable despite it being a Legendary class. I had hope to reroll mine which is 10-10-11 IV but cannot.

Thanks for all the info and for the most part it all sounds like something Niantic would do with this thing also don't feel bad those stats are way better than mine lol. The one I got came out slightly stronger than a starter Pokemon. I may never evolve it to be honest man because once you evolve into one of the two solgaleo or Lunala that's probably going to be it. I don't see Niantic putting either one in raids and we will probably only get a single cosmog. So that means no matter what one we choose if the iv stats are trash it will just be a cool Pokemon in your collection. If anything we deserve a reroll for those stats. In the event that we do get those 2 sun and moon legendary pokemon in raids it probably will only happen on the account of everyone upset that they don't have one or the other pokemon and or terrible stats.

My prediction is that the second stage in the research is going to Grant another cosmog, Therefore granting you too so you can evolve one to Solgaleo and the other to lunala

I have almost never had any problems with the research or field research. It might be because you have so many pokemon stacked up in your field research that it slows down the game.

What if you don't want to evolve Cosmog either? Assuming Solgaleo and Lunala will be raids later this month will be doing a bunch of those anyway.

So dataminers have determined the cosmog and cosmoem will not evolve. We will most likely get one of each then choose which of the two box legendaries we will get.

Elgyem is the second worst shiny since it's essentially same as non-shiny except the eyes. The Worst shiny is Beheeyem which is EXACTLY the same as the non-shiny form.

You should get a tiny umbrella that will attach to the top of your camera to give it shade.

FYI. Cosmog was tradable during the 1st hour of the event.

I got an Elgem sitting in my chair in my living room. DUDE I almost fell out of it, its so cute! And it was just a random search i wasn´t even looking for one. I was looking for something else this week, but i won´t get that one so thats fine I got one that one of my friends haven´t even gotten yet so that´s fun.

Caught a Shiny Nundo Ralts today, caught a hundo ralts, and got a hundo elgeyem from the research

he’s acting like Zarude came out 5 years ago and hasn’t come back out since. Zarude came out just last October and is a Gen 8 mythical and that’s why they haven’t released it again yet. It will be focused on more once we get into the Galar region and we still need the chance to get shiny Zarude so they have to bring it back at some point for the shiny. there’s no way anything in pokémon go will ever be released only once.

There's absolutely no way Solgaleo and Lunala don't come to raids. I mean they're box legendaries. There's 2 mystery 5-stars coming up. My guess is that they are those two legendaries.

You are tripping constantly mentioning how zarude is a movie pokemon therefore it can't be caught again. Zerude is in the main series and its a mythical same as mew. It will definitely be released again. Im not sure about cosmog/cosmoem but solgaleo and lunala will definitely be released in raids in the future

Take the Solgaleo. Lunala is 4x week to Ghost and Dark. Thats not really helpful. It's a great pokemon, but i think Solgaleo is the better option

I have 99iv cosmog of 184 cp , I am thinking just to evolve it into lunala.

My Cosmog ended up worse. A 10/12/12. But I did get extremely lucky with my Victini. 100iv. I'm sending all my rare xls to Victini and maxing it out as soon as I can.
