I love the concept of it! Finizen is a dolphin *Citizen,* while palafin is a Clark Kent-like Pokémon. Looks like a normal citizen, then disappears from the public to then return as a superhero.

Also he can learn the move wave crash with 120 power but there's a little recoil, still he can learn drain punch and against grass type pokemon he can learn ice punch, by giving him the item "punching glove" it boost the punch moves by 10%, the punching move usually have 75 power so it makes their power 82 power.

Drathron goes so hard as a capstone bakugan. Big, complex, and genuinely functional in an average game. 10/10 Though I wasn't expecting bakumorphs to be knocked as hard as they did 😭. Jokes aside I can see it, I just still love bakumorphs for being bakugan you can actually pose and articulate. Not the best draft to the idea, I agree, but I will give them points for likely inspiring ultraballs in the reboot. I also definitely see a much more refined and improved version returning in the future. Edited for grammar.

Ignoring the annoying activation requirement of switching out and back in, I hate it for personal reasons. Back in Gen 7, I was annoyed that the water starter was a sea lion that becomes a mermaid, instead of a dolphin that becomes a mermaid. This thing just rubs salt in that old wound.

For anyone needing counters to this thing....Physic Surge Indeedee stops the use of offensive priority moves. Bullet Punch, Extreme speed, and yes, that ridiculous 60 base power Jet Punch are all inneffective vs Hero Form Palafin. So if someone has one and uses it's choice scarf/band in your physic surge...Palafin is rendered useless. Just a tip for you all :)

This is one of my new favorite pokemon. Aside from looking like a digimon it's ability is probably the most unique in the game and it's so cute in base form and kinda badass in it's hero form

If you're just playing through the main story, I can see Palafin being used religiously. Smogon has banned it though, so don't expect it to appear in any tournaments. But the fact that it was strong enough to get banned by Smogon should be an indicator of how busted you can be with them outside of tournaments.

When electric type Pokemon are typically speed demons I don't know how palafin doesn't die on entry.

As someone who used Palafin ingame for a playthrough, the Zero to Hero abiloty is far more debilitating ingame than in competitive singles. Why would I spend multiple turns switching my Palafin out, then bringing it in to OHKO when the majority of my team can do the same thing with none of the hoops to jump through? It only ever got REAL use in the Geeta fight, where I fell back on Palafin as a setup sweeper, with Jet Punch, Ice Punch and Bulk Up to run her team through. And even then, I was underlevelled, so I could have just... fought ANY of the trainers in the open world, whom I skipped ALL of. Azumarill is far better for ingame, since Huge Power gives it a comparable Atk stat for none of the fuss, you get it coupled with the AMAZING Fairy typing and you get it by L18 without needing to Union Circle, instead of L38 and doing online fuckery. And that's just ONE option
