I have used my yamaha aerox 2019 -+ 2 1/2 years and have covered a distance of 37000 km, lately this motorbike has often died and code 12 appears and the engine indicator light continues to light up.
The danger is when this motorbike dies suddenly while behind it there is a big car like a truck.
In the end, I looked for a solution to what causes the motor to die frequently and code 12 appeared. From all searches I was looking for in cyberspace, almost 90% said that the damage was in the aerox spull socket.
finally I did the disassembly and checked the spull socket, but the spull socket on my motorbike didn't burn. then what's the cause of my motor likes to die and error 12 appears.
I decided to dig deeper into my motor until I got the magnet and the spool coil, and I found a lot of oil around my spool coil and it turned out that the axle seal was leaking which caused the oil to come out and stick to the magnet and spool reel.
because oil is easy to stick to dust so my motor spool is so dirty and the magnet is dirty too.
Finally I cleaned the spool and the magnet and replaced the seal with a new one.
and the problem was resolved, code 12 no longer appeared on my motorbike
conclusion: many other channels say code 12 is damaged, the spool or replace the socket, that's the problem, but the source of the problem is the leaky seal!! Why can I say the seal is leaking? Here I will describe the leaky seal ass that makes the oil come out and splashes into the spull and magnets because the oil splash makes the magnets and spull coils dirty easily and makes the spull work heavy and attracts the magnets that are generated to make the electric current unstable.
The biggest problem is that if this is not handled quickly, it will damage the spull coil and the spull socket becomes hot and burns if it's like a drill, you have to replace the spull which costs up to 850 thousand, even though if this can be handled, the drill only needs to spend 9000 to replace the seal. .
Suggestion: if the indication 12 appears on the aerox drill, immediately check the spull section to see if it is dirty or if the seal is leaking, if there is a seal, replace it quickly because the rubber seal will have a time when it will become brittle. the drill can do a spull check if the drill motor has touched 20000km.
