@@koloblicin ..That is absurd thinking. You can't rent something and encase it in cement and then return it, and there is no way that little anchor is worth $280. It's $280 for the anchor and the post. Probably a much smaller fee for additional anchors.

Former welder and fabricator here, no, that costs nothing to make, steel is pretty cheap, probably under 40$ in material and at most when set up with a jig 10 minutes to fit up and 20 mins to weld.

Why not just put the pole in the concrete? That threaded insert thing will get full of dirt and bord droppings. Maybe a salamander could use it as a home and then it dies when you screw it in because it does not have a escape hatch for lizards or bees.

Hes establishing this price more for the attention of bulk purchases for construction crews. Imagine a company coming to him that's about to build a skyscraper and they say "Hey we need 5000 of these" even at 22.50 per month the dude is making over 100k with no issues other than production.

I agree but I don’t see the practical use, it can’t be used in residential, it can be used in high rise but only on the top floor, I just don’t see where this goes. It would be great in high rise for roofing terms but like the market is small? Or shit maybe I’m wrong, there’s many highrises being built, but every previous ones doesn’t get work.

Accept an un feasible product to use. How is this going to help guys 20 stories in the air on nothing but a steel structure? They aren't going to pour anchor points before pouring the entire slab of concrete. This makes the job take longer and cost alot more. Have to set up structure then set anchor s and pour concrete wait an extra day for those concrete anchors to harden. Finish building upwards. Then destroy all the concrete anchors that aren't ground level to reform so you can pour for you wall slabs or what ever form.

@heuuarnesen4473 yep they use I-Beam clamps rated for life protection. Modern sky Scraper construction is also built with concrete as they go up, not like back in the day where they built the steel structure first than did concrete.

Well still could be consider scam price because he didn’t mention when renting how much the anchor would cost you because most likely they won’t let you return it even if you could remove it from the concrete once done. That 22.50 for the screw-in red part, is that per hour, per day, per week? Is that 22.50 only after you pay full price just for the anchor? We all know somewhere is the fine print document that tells the negatives & what you can’t or should do with them.

Yeah as a concrete guy. We are not doing this😂😂😂 The good ole drill a hole and anchor bolt is way better then this. And you can strap off ANYWHERE. Not just preset locations. 300 dollars too? ... 🥱 Drilling a hole and a 80 dollar anchor will work 100x better (can strap off from anywhere) and will last me years. 22bucks at 3 years is around 800 dollars.... 😅 Guy really going to get rich off a gimmick

Yes. All you had to do is, show the records you bought 50 of those. But in reality you will buy 20. The rest of the company money saved can be pocketed by you and the seller. And if anyone falls in the absence of those, we can hire a newer worker , a cheaper one- an immigrant. They will work for a dime a dozen.

I almost died at work. I'm a scaffolder in Nyc and this product would have saved me from being in a coma for 3days, herniated lower lumbar 5, neck herniation. Tore my right rotator cuff, tore tendons in my right elbow and wrist. Loss of hearing in my right ear. I am grateful that this man created this product. I'm 1 year and a few months in my recovery. Saw a dude 2 months ago fall from a 3rd story, he broke his fall (multiple times). It was a crammed site with 3 story townhouses so he kind of smacked a bunch of things. He ended up getting up and walking but fractured some ribs and horrible scratches. He got off easy, hope your dad has a full recovery. My dad broke his arm 15 years ago falling off some scaffolding, still can't fully extend his arm. Crazy stuff man, be safe out there.

Not necessarily, I would be a proponent for a temporary plug for balconies. That plug would quietly live under the subfloor or tile.These Oceanfront and Waterfront mid/high rise in South Florida get a new skin around once every 10 to 15 years. They usually strip the tile on the balconies as well, so this system in place would save a lot of time and money on the retro fit for railings and other work.

I rehabilitated workers who took falls when I was a climbing instructor. Most of the injuries were from falls less than 10 ft. My job was just to get guys comfortable getting off the ground again and to trust their fall protection.
