Yes those Ducks are different. The ducks you saw on the Golf Course are Mallard Ducks. The Ducks we eat are Ducks we bred long ago and are much different to the Original Duck. Its the same with most animals we eat or even take as pets. Dogs for example came from Wolves and pugs dont have alot in comon with wolves. To answer your other question, the taste different. Mallard Ducks have way less meat and are dry as hell.

When i encounter slow players at my local course, i just skip holes. Ive walked past slow golfers as well.. Then i play the holes that i missed later in the round .... nothing more frustrating.

I said I'd never go back there, then a few weeks ago we went back there because it was last minute. It took 5hours and 13 minutes. That course needs to be turned into housing! what a stupid place. I also got a smoothie and the lady gave me a cracked plastic cup so it spilt everywhere.

I'm a duck farmer and it's actually true that they taste like whatever someone on youtube would say they taste like pretending to be a duck farmer.

Question how does it work on courses in New Zealand with public courses? Like in the states you can either walk or use a cart, which is just a recipe for failure as the pace of play being DISMALL

Slow golf is the worse thing for serious golfers. There’s no way a round should take 4 hours. Two can play in 2 hours, 4 in 3 hours. Over that you need way more driving range time.

The duck is a Pacific black duck, not a Mallard which looks similar but has yellow/orange feet and lighter coloured bill. Illegal to catch and eat, but probably tastes pretty good.

Takapuna was a nice golf course back in the day....I grew up playing there. The course used to be a municiple Course and was well maintained. The last 10-15 years the quality of the course has declined.. the greens are almost half the size they used to be... (probably to save money) Its a shame really.

That is the one problem with Public courses, the slow play. So many people on the course think they are pros and can hit 300 yard drives and reach a 550 yard Par 5 in two.

Truthfully - I have been golfing for 24 years and have only played on Public courses. So, so many very high quality courses to choose from - I honestly have no idea why anyone would go the Private course route

I've driven past this course on the motorway a few times and it always looked a bit ghetto, thanks for showing which golf courses to NOT play in the future 😅

Stink guys man I'm a greenkeeper here , we are a beginner golf course trying to get people into golf , there's no rough or anything, it's the easiest and busiest 18hole in NZ and anyone can play member or not, we help people start before they join a real club. You walked of on hole 5 and you played hole 7 ?????
