SO! Strap in cause this has been a hyper fixation for YEARS. This game is based on the movie series: The Puppet Master. The original movie was made for Direct to FIlm back in 1989. The movie was such a hit, that the Full Moon Films company was able to pump out Over 15 Films, a Comic Series, and a shit ton of toys. The Movies revolve around a group of Murderous Puppets. Blade, Pinheard,, Tunneler Jester, Torch, Leech Woman, Six Shooter, and in the comics/fourth and Fifth movie, the Decapitron. The Puppets are brough to life by an Egyptian Spell that was originally stolen from the god of Death, Anapa, by a sorcerer who gives it to a French Puppeteer Andre Toulon back when he was a preformer. He kept the secret from most, until the Nazis came. Most of Toulon's friends were killed by the Nazis by one means or another. Where he then preformed the spell to bring them into the puppets; Pinhead, Jester, Tunneler, and Six Shooter. Eventually word caught up with the Nazis that some puppeteer was making his puppets move without strings, to investigate, they wanted to bring Toulon in for questioning. However, they ended up killing his wife, Elsa. Driven by rage and vengence, Toulon then brought his wife back as the Leech Woman to exact her revenge as well. He escaped and began his own secret war against the Nazis, after all... who would believe a puppet killed someone? Eventually another friend was killed and was transferred into the leader of the puppets, Blade. With the death of his wife's killer, he fled Germany. Later in the continuity (In the comics) it would be revealed Andre and Elsa had a son. This son would be indoctrinated into the Nazis, becoming an agent to kill his father. However, he was killed by the puppets without even knowing it was his son until it was too late. He would later become the puppet known as Torch. This takes us to the first movie, Years go by and Andre Toulon lived out his days in the area known as the Bodega Bay Inn in California living out his days until he was confronted yet again by two disguised nazi agents. To protect his secrets, he hid the puppets in a trunk in a secret compartment and then took his own life. His soul later revealed to be moved into the Decapitron puppet. The Totems are Anapa's followers. They are Magical entities that are sent by Anapa to retrieve the stolen secrets and silence anyone who knows of them. Sutehk is the leader of their group. Headhunter and Mephesto however are unique. Mephesto was originally a puppet made by Andre Toulon, though I'm not sure how he came into the possession of Anapa, my knowledge of that is a tad rusty. Headhunter however is a completely original design by the creators of the game but is endorsed and approved by Puppet Master's original director/creator. Lastly the Demonic Toys are from an entierly different movie series but is tied into Puppet Master franchise as stated by the Puppet Master Series creator. Sorry if this was a lot- This franchise is like a hyperfixation for me for years and I'm so glad to see Grizzy playing it LOL!
