Several punters have had trouble with the ESCs or battery plugs on these shorting out. Also the servo arms are very long thus putting a lot of stress on the gears if snagged in the weeds on landing. They are definitely a handful for noobs in any wind with the stock Tx especially. When transferred to a good radio via the S-bus or DSM satellite sockets, our 2 have become fun little toys for close-in flying by us Old Farts. The front landing gear is very weakly held in the foam and will get rotated by any moderate bump down - could be reinforced but probably better left off and a couple of ziptie/line trimmer cord loops substituted. The motor mount area is best beefed up with bamboo skewers along each side of the battery bay and across between them at the front of the battery bay. After young Cap'n Hook's effort in Yankeeland and 1 of ours splatting the ESC by bare wire being forced out of the back of the JST socket we moved the ESCs to the outer wall of the battery bay. Makes it easier to get the battery in and the lid on as well. 😉

Don't disagree although at faster flight speeds. Given its more for 3D aerobatics and slow flight on verge of stall maybe just have to accept that

The Radiolink is not a bad unit of this type (a bit larger too) but you can get 2 of these for the price of 1 A560! 😉

@@theoztreecrasher2647 I just wanted to mention it. Personally, I prefer to fly slightly larger aircraft because it's mostly windy here.

@@altermannfliegt3927 Actually the cheapest version of the A560 going now is about the PNP version for AU$230 + 10% taxes shipped. The RTF version of this can be had on Ali for AU$84.60 landed (incl taxes!) Just purchased another 1 at the sales prices current until midnight 27th August. So 3 for the price of 1! 😉

This plane is best flown by a good radio via a satellite receiver in either the S-bus or DSM sockets. Not only will you get better control but you will be able to set a motor failsafe in your Tx model set-up. There is NONE when using the stock transmitter - lose signal = bye bye plane! 😱🙄
