Pile 2 for me. I recently moved abruptly, had a major surgery. Yesterday I saw one of my artist friends, she got a whole news article for her art and I sobbed because I always wanted something like that as well. I always felt like a side character or a third wheel and all my readings keep saying similar things. It's been hard trying to make digital art, music, or drag again and there have been many months of depression and no action. I always wanted to publish music and art people can enjoy or relate with. What's even funnier, "embracing your dark side" I have been doing a lot of shadow work. My shadow self tends to be more active then it used to be and gets mad at me when things don't go well right away haha. Anyway, this pile resonates with me a lot.

Same. The most sucky thing is knowing you are good and that you have talent and still not getting acknowledged by the right people. Meanwhile I see frankly very mediocre, bland people just bank on their connections. I'm not talking about people with actual skills, I'm talking about nepotism babies. I relate to you, getting rejected and ignored just makes you not want to try anymore. I feel like I'm always second choice and it makes me angry.

It may help to turn your thoughts around to be happy for your friend's recignition, like it was your own or how you'd feel if you got it. Is it really so important to be recognized. It's better to create something great for yourself, if you do that, you're already successful. I'm sure the positivity will be healing too❤
