My mom was a pro at the crockpot . She would have the meat in one crockpot the potatoes in another and a cobbler in another. She was a working mom but I did this as a stay at home mom. So smart.

What? This is mind blowing! You know how when your having a dinner party and your trying to figure out where to cook everything so it’s done at the same time. This idea gives me all new options. Baked potatoes in the oven is easy. Why not put them in a dutch oven with the same ingredients and put them in your regular stove for an hour?? Isn't that just as easy? And quicker??

@@kathywiseley4382 Probably because it takes 6 to 8 hours. You can cooked them in the microwave in 9 minutes, one hour in the oven.

I do a variation on baking potatoes in the crockpot. I wrap the cleaned and poked potatoes in foil and put them in the pot for 8 hours. This really came in handy when I was cooking a holiday dinner for my family! Also, your little helper is so cute! Your daughters are growing up so fast! ~Anastacia in Cleveland

I suggest to crumple some tin foil and place on the bottom of you crockpot first. This prevents the potatoes from burning when placed direct on the bottom of the pot. I also wrap each potato in foil. 🇨🇦

We've been doing this for YEARS. They're so good! And if you don't have the time, a pressure cooker will also give you the same results in like 15 minutes. But I like the slow cooker more, because it's cuter and I just like using it. 😂

Instant pot 15 minutes for large25 minutes for extra large. Best ever. Not dry because the steam. Will never make them any other way.

10min n an oven or 4hrs in a slow cooker... My electric bill says 10min is better .. Especially since I have a small family and I can cook all the potatoes we need in the convection toaster oven which takes even less electricity than the conventional oven..
