A while back there was a guy that ran the Hydraulic Express truck out of Carolina Cat in Asheville. He was always running stuff back and forth to the quarry to get rebilt. He was driving a F-150 pickup BUT that youngiun was SEVEN FEET TALL! He said he had a brother that was SEVEN FEET ONE INCH. I didn't think much as he got out of that trruck till he walked over to where I was sitting in a 980 G loader and was almost as tall as I was. He was a fine guy and I told him I knew he was a good guy the 1st time I looked up at him. We always yakked a little every time I saw him. I also got a Cat cap out of it. Never know who you'll find out and about. Good job on the cylinder, by the way! God Bless All Yall!

Heavy equipment means some heavy lifting sometimes. Feels good when you put it back together and it works. Good for another hundred thousand.

When hitting the cylinder use pice of wood to hit instead of the cylinder itself, that way won’t put nicks on it or flat spot . Someone hold wood and someone tap wood . Everyone working together is great ,getting it fixed and up and running . Stay safe and stay country. Have a great time

Enjoy watching. I am also a logger in middle Tennessee I’ve never commented on a video before. But we have the same log hog loader mine is a 880. And my lift has always seemed slow. Was wondering if you could let me know what your lift time is on yours the twin cylinder main boom part. I don’t know anyone else who has one. Thanks in advance and god bless!
