A short video on the advantage of using a rotary landing pad in an environment with gravity on Space Engineers with little to no downside especially when there's only a limited amount of space, it can also be used as a rather interesting safety feature

There is a secondary benefit to that design it hides your inactive vehicles while keeping your deck clear, say you park a ground vehicle and flip it you repair it still but below and not need a hanger bay or put this on roof of the hanger for rapid deploy. or use it as a repair and rearm bay while hiding it from enemy. hell you can put a turret on the non dock side and if damaged flip it and repair get it back in the fight.

@@LucaTheGuide it's sort of tall cylindrical building with elevator in the center. Cars are densely parked in this sort of circles each floor and elevator mechanism rotate to align and pull cars in and out. (rotate side to side along elevator shaft axis. not flip up/down like video but still. rotation and platforms and what not)

When “parked” dampeners are automatically off, unless a script is present.
