REVERSE BULLET HELL, WITH MINING
Kill bugs, upgrade your gear, and delve ever deeper into the lethal caves of Hoxxes. Collect and assemble a devastating array of guns, unleash hell upon wave after wave of alien monsters in fast and frenetic combat, and tunnel your way to collect precious riches from deep within the cave walls. Each mission is unique, using procedural cave generation and enemy waves, just as you've come to know from Deep Rock Galactic.
COMPLETE MISSION OBJECTIVES TO BECOME STRONGER
Delve deep, Miner! Once the Drop Pod releases you into the oppressive darkness, you are on your own. Complete the mission objectives set forth by the Company, and make it back to the Drop Pod in time to try your luck at even more deadly and lucrative encounters. Progress deeper and deeper into the planet while you grow ever stronger, survive all the way to the very end of your assignment, and finally get extracted alongside your hefty sack of loot.

I finally completed the Hi Ex mastery after 47 attempts!! 🍻 No legendaries on my succesful run, but a lot of early rares and epics. All the runs where I got legendaries never made it out of stage 1. 35 fails on stage 1, 9 fails on stage 2, 2 fails on stage 3 - one of which was after defeating the boss when I died with one foot on the ramp. 😭 Still, that's THAT done never to repeat. I'm gonna go out and see if the world ended in the last week! Maybe touch some grass. 😁

I got the flamethrower on Juggernaut yesterday and the beams were so short and wimpy it made me cry

I had a similar thing happen with the cryo canon. It came with the +1 beam overclock.

I think you underestimate the usefulness of the tripod artifact. Just watching you play you actually stand still quite often. When you kite minibosses, you stop frequently to drop conarructs, & mining & when clearing the supply drop. There's also a bit of a skill trick that makes the tripod very good. If you briefly stop moving before it times out, it will reset. Takes a bit of practice to get the timing, but it is possible to mostly keep moving, and keep the 15 stacks of reload & fire rate.
