They were discovered by members of Korn, which is why Jonathan Davis appears in the video. "After Korn played the Jacksonville area in 1995, bassist Fieldy got several tattoos from Durst (a tattoo artist) and the two became friends. The next time Korn were in the area, they picked up Limp Bizkit's demo tape and were so impressed that they passed it on to their producer, Ross Robinson."

You should watch their performance at Woodstock 99. I was legit there in the pit for that epic show and the video of it made it seem so much worse than it was on the field that day. It’s a must see for all their fans.

I think the Dre, Snoop, and Eminem cameos were probably because they were record label mates at Interscope. Shady and Aftermath are both under Interscope’s umbrella.

Now imagine being an angsty teen between 1999 and 2001 and listening to this. All those confusing emotions just pouring out when this song came on. Even 20+ years later it still has that affect on me. Talk about an epic time to grow up. The 90s-early 2000s were a dope time for different genres coming together 💯 On the Rap/Hip Hop side you had a prime era of evolution for the genre as a whole as well as worldwide commercial success like never before, and on the Rock/Metal side you had what I liked to call the "experimental era" going on. Nu-Metal was basically Metal music with Rap, funk, and reggae influences thrown in. Plus the countless sub genres that took Metal to new heights in originality the genre had never seen before. Famous Rappers and Metal Heads were actually friends and did a plethora of projects together, the ultimate meeting of the minds and perfect culture clash. And the fan base followed suit, Rap and Metal have never been closer. That's why it wasn't uncommon to see Rappers in Metal videos and vice versa. One of my favorite times in music, also 2 of my favorite genres. 🔥 Dope reaction, keep it up 🤙🏻

I just realized this song has been on my rage play list ...(in the beginning it was a mix tape, then a mix cd) for 20 years. Damn. I am feeling older than dirt. I remember being a kid and watching this video debut for the first time. I’d wait for my mom to fall asleep so I could sneak downstairs and watch Monday night Raw on USA and after Raw a show came on that would debut and play all sorts of awesome rock videos... did interviews with bands too.
