I have lived a similar life. Still working my way out of this turmoil 😅 I've found very short 5-10min meditation or focused thinking on positive affirmations, breathing, a new lifestyle... and enjoying the peaceful feeling in that time. When my day goes bad, or when bad/sad memories sneek in,,, I return to this blissful feeling. Step by step, I'm getting through 🙏❤️🙏

The unconscious is very important. Deciding to be positive does NOT automatically bring good things to life because the unconscious or the shadow is what influences your reality. As long as you fail to make the unconscious conscious, you remain stuck. Meditation connects the personal unconscious with the conscious as well as the collective. Look around you.
