I'm actually glad you mentioned that the tools do have a break in period. most don't realize this. also there aren't any videos out there really on this subject nor the maintenance/upkeep on power tools. the does and donts plus the products you can use and can't on electrical parts and gears ect ECT. might be a good video to do.

This recip saw is a beast. very powerful and compact. tools perform better after being used for a little bit. which is why I used to do an out of the box test.

Love the fairness here. I get why flex makes the videos they do, but i havnt and probably wont ever buy a flex tool because of that. Thanks for these videos!

Milwaukee recip blades are really awesome. Granted I was using the cheapest blades I could find before I got my first Milwaukee blades but it was night and day difference a multiple times difference in speed of cuts.

From other test I’ve seen these flex tools are pretty powerful and a lot of time beats the big name. I come to see what you say so I know if the others were telling the truth or if they might have skewed the results for the almighty dollar.

there is not point on trying to make certain results. we will see how this does against the other brands in the future.

@@ManCaverTools I'm ready for the PowerStack (stacked lithium) technology to come to the 56V EGO batteries. Ended up getting that backpack link system and it works like a charm. EGO & FLEX are owned by the same company so maybe it will happen. I'm holding off until the new batteries come out.

The weight tests are only to show a fair comparison between tools and to eliminate variables. This is a one-handed tool but you use two hands.

I always use 2 hands on these saws. because I do tasks that you normally wouldn't do with them that would let you use 2 hands. my channel tests out the motors and what it can do

I bought that kit you didn't open for work, and tbh you get more for you're dollar by just purchasing the high end impact and drill driver combo kit(because of the 5.0 battery) then purchasing the Sawzall separately. The 2x 2.5 batteries just make the Sawzall useless(in the 4 tool kit)

I wanna know when they're gonna start offering tool only options damnit! I already bought their hammer drill kit so I don't need another charger and more batteries, just sell me the tools alone!!!

lol that's right you tell um with their fake as hell contractors. Who do they think falls for that. Probably nobody I bet the bean counters rely on us doing the back and forth complaining about them. I have to admit it keeps flex in everyone's mouth.

Those blade are decent not great. I went thru milwaukee, Lennox, Dewalt, and spider they are no comparison

Sorry part of a thought. No comparison to diablo their blades last so much longer I will never waste money again on inferior blades

FLEX is actually a good company, their promo videos need some work though, in my opinion

@@abou374 You’re going to get a convoluted answer. Flex is a German company that got passed around between American owners. Now Chervon of China owns them. These specific black colored “Flex” tools are really just using the brand name. Thus far, they are exclusive to America. Red colored Flex tools are available all over the world.

I would like to buy flex, just disappointed their two most common tools the impact and drill are so bloody heavy. That keeps me from from bothering to try them. And their super slow rollout of tools is a huge problem too.
