Yes, but according to Kathryn Johnson herself (Taraji plays her in this film) this incident/situation never happened; she and other “coloreds” in this building used the nearest bathroom and no one said anything about it. However, it doesn’t take away from Taraji’s performance or that this type of segregation did exist.

Because she's got her own issues with how she feels black actresses r paid n ppl who claim to be helping black actors and actresses r not helping much she's came out to speak on this.. thay emotion is real because she got her own issues similar to this.. today this goes on? Shameful now idk what Morgan freeman or densely get paid but I do know she doesn't get paid enough.. poor thing
@gracefulonem13923 ай бұрын
This was from 2016 before the narrative of demanding more pay. This was based in the 60's when black people had no rights and discrimination was at its worse in classroom and the workplace.. This included her parents and grandparents. I'd probably be an emotion wreck if I had to deliver those lines.

If it’s not your job it’s something else. There is always someone out there to bully you. To test your strength. Stand tall wherever you are today!!💪💪💪💯💯💯
