Surprised you didn't use mirror herb, giving your ally +2 attack while giving their target -2 defence in one move is the definition of spicy

I think this thing will really shine when legendaries are allowed again, especially with Clear Amulet Groudon. It can give it a quick +2 in the sun and redirect any single-target water, grass and ice type attacks, as well as any Will-O-Wisps.

Spicy extract is really reminiscent of the Taunt move from SMT (lowers enemy's defense but raises attack). Love it

I love seeing creative strategies with Scovillain, he's one of my favourites of this gen and I've been really wanting to find cool ways to use him with his unique typing, access to Chlorophyll with STAB fire, and Spicy Extract being such an interesting support move.

This is a neat tech! Honestly for Rain/Hail teams you could give Murkrow Sunny Day in place of Protect as a means of enabling the Scovillain more.

It was fun to see this in action, as a non-competitive player, I really couldn't see a use for Spicy Extract. It's nice to get a little perspective on it. It was interesting to the creative use of Clear Body/Amulet in combo with it. I certainly never would have come up with that.

The stats are because of its split nature. Based on the Pokedex, the red head is fire/special based and the green head is grass/physical.

I love these videos with less popular Pokémon, It’s so much more fun to win with them I’ve been winning with abomasnow setting snow, auroroa veil and leech seed, then switching into glaceon, ground tera, curse calm mind and with leech seed, leftovers, ice body, snow defence, and settting up as a tank, she just doesn’t die No one expects it and it’s working suprisingly well

And here I was thinking that move was just a riskier but more reliable version of screech, incredible strategy

I saw someone did a Spicy Extract Scovillain with a Mirror Herb Roaring Moon using Breaking Swipe before the ruleset came out. I was expecting to see another Mirror Herb boost but Foul Play is another great idea I wasn't expecting.

Dude I love this. Pairing Scovillain with foul play users and clear body/clear amulet pokemon is so SPICY. Imagine further empowering Murkrow in the current meta. I really like the creativity. Please try out Pawmot + Revival Blessing (I also run double shock, nuzzle and entrainment), I just climbed from great ball to masterball rank with it today. And it's amazing for reviving a powered up Rage fist Annhilape (I run scarf). On occasion I also opt to revive Hydreigon which has better type coverage with its movepool.

I thought Scovillain was like the grass fire pepper pokemon version of Hydreigon but it didnt evolve again a shame but still love it

I really thought Spicy Extract would be a terrible move, but I love how you managed to use it so well.

I was having a great time using Murkrow and Scovillain together back before murkrow got so popular. Had to take a break for my sanity haha. Really fun combination though. In addition to spicy extract, Scovillain getting access to Rage Powder + Stab Overheat to pressure grass types that would ignore rage powder is quite nice. It's a little tricky to use, but I found it to be a very powerful addition to my team, providing a unique combination of tools.

I've been hyped about spicy extract when it first got leaked. Though, I totally forgot about clear body lmao. I was more focused on confuse ray synergy with spicy extract. I feel like that combo has potential too

Should also be stated, that if you spicy extract onto a defiant anihilape holding a white herb, it will max out its attack and will remove the debuffs.

That's quite a fun looking build. I've never been into competitive Pokemon but I used to like taking advantage of Swagger which confuses the target and greatly raises their attack. Was great for opposing Pokemon that only used special attack because it made them hit themselves harder. Sadly that has been nerfed with a lower chance to hit yourself due to confusion, but that would have been fun to add to this.

I actually used this strat as well almost immideatly once vgc was available. Dragapult is one of my fav mons and the synergy was just so apparent

Spicy extract would work well with a defiant mon. It would boost their attack twice, once from the move, and again once defiant peocs from the defense drop.

Been messing with Spicy Extract and Mirror Herb in Singles. Very fun. Stalling a Moody speed boost with protect is pretty feasible.
