Hannes didn't know that titan, he had simply never seen a real titan as they have never left the wall. He felt terror. I recommend you to pay close attention to the characters, to the moments, in order to understand better. Great reaction 👍🏻

These people havent had to fight titans like this in years. They were sheltered in their city and didnt take the dangers very seriously. Hannes has never had to face this challenge before, he was too terrified to fight the titan! Thats why he ran, it's fear due to lack of experience.

This anime is considered a masterpiece withinthe genre and the soundtrack is considered the greatest of all time. If u watch it for no other reason than to be aware of it, it is worth your time! Welcome to God-tier storytelling!! I'm excited to take this journey with yall, this'll be my 74th and it NEVER gets old!! @@stanleyho8009 it started out being replayed for confirmation of narrative, I was rechecking what I thought I saw like most fans want to do. I really liked the particular world they had created. THEN I started to cosplay and kinnie Annie so u gotta get ur story/expressions straight, u know! I'd say 40 of 74 have been reactors- don't even try to pretend this first episode is not NOTORIOUS af and worth watching other ppl experience lmao

Hannes (the blond man who took Eren and Mikasa away to safety and left their mom) ran away because when he came face to face with a titan for the first time, he got scared and terrified, he realized he won't be any match at all. So he had to decide quickly and took Eren and Mikasa instead. Like any other normal human being, our first instinct when we feel like we're gonna lose or we're certain we're facing death, is that we run to safety.

We would have 100% been terrified ourselves for sure! Yes we get it, it was just a silly theory that popped into my head like "Hold on, does he know the Titan? Like was the Titan a regular sized human before and he didn't want to attack it because he knew it personally?" But then after thinking about it we were like yeah he ran away because he knew he wouldn't be any match for it and it was better to save the kids and him self instead of all 4 of them dying. He just seemed determined to fight and prove himself but he then had a change of heart when he locked eyes with the titan. Don't blame him, just sad that the mother ended up dying like that 😢

We know some people are like "just watch the show, stop pausing on such a good scene" but we feel like what is the point of a reaction video if we don't react as we are watching it? We try to limit pauses when its very intense but some people just seem like they want you to watch in silence. We can't wait to watch more AoT episodes and we are so glad you enjoyed our video! Don't search for even a wallpaper before you catch up to season 4, and that guy(Hannes) was just terrified to see the titan, the garrisons never had to face titans before

Yeah we figured! We would be terrified too! We just thought he was determined to fight but then when he locked eyes with the Titan, I guess he figured they would all get killed so he took the kids and got out of there.

i hate to be that guy but that wasn't anywhere near a great reaction. you can't watch this show half ass invested looking elsewhere, missing dialogues, scenes and putting hands over your eyes whenever theres blood or death. might as well not watch it then because the show requires you to pay attention or you'd just be left watching an action anime. I'm not trying to hate though. i just hope they don't keep doing that so that the reaction is more enjoyable and they themselves would enjoy it more.

We learned real quick that there are no coincidences in this show 😂😂 we were watching it on Hulu at first then changed over to Crunchyroll. Not sure exactly what episode we switched over, somewhere between ep 5-10. We hope you do enjoy the rest of the playlist and glad you enjoyed this one 😆

Heads up about posting more than 10 mins of footage to avoid copyright claims/strikes so may want to edit some it. This was my very first Anime and it’s now my all time favorite show. That's great that we showed up in your recommendations, thank you for letting us know! Yes we do have to change some things as far as editing the video. We looked at how other people do tv show/movie reactions in general and we need to include way less footage like you are saying and probably bump up the transparency of it to avoid any copyright issues. The anime has been great so far with this first episode and we are glad to hear that it is such a good series over all, we definitely plan on checking more out!
