O.M.G. - Tonight's Our Date Night and We just finished the most romantic candlelight dinner out on Our lanai with music and a little dancing and a LOT of 'flirting" and innuendo and Hubby says He saw something earlier on KZfaq that We should watch and up come the Sex-perts from XO Marriage and We're both almost rolling on the ground in the first two minutes. Asked hubby what the Seasons of Sex sounds like to Him and He replied "Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer, at noon, before breakfast, midway on Saturday during ChoreDay, in the garage, on the way to WalMart (YEP HE SAID THAT!!)....STOP!!!! The kicker was "...so that at least one of Us has a climax." Have a feeling there's gonna be a LOT more laughing Tonight...😎😻

Can I suggest: battery powered "candles". We had to go that route on our anniversary because most motels and 'B&B's' don't allow open flames. LOVE our candle !! 2 C batteries.

I went from not doing a whole lot around the house to doing laundry, giving the kids baths, making the bed, to now cooking dinner 90% of the time and now I'm at the point where my wife couldn't stand to be with me. We've been 30 days and there's no sign of anything getting better. And my wife's love language is service but she just doesn't feel like it. I'm in a broken place right now, and she seems fine with her love affair with her phone. Please pray for a marriage. Somehow having sex once a month she's pregnant with her fourth kid. And I'm supposed to be okay with all this

@@XOMarriage I really do appreciate it. I'm in a broken spot right now that I don't know how to get out of. I knew something was up with my wife and realize that she took a pregnancy test that was in our upper cabinet a week ago. And every time I tried talking to her she closed down and made an excuse to not talk to me. She finally came through this week to tell me she was pregnant and I told her I already knew. And she was surprised because she put pads in the trash for two days and I knew better. Anyways the reason she wasn't telling me was because she wanted to go get an abortion. And I could completely understand why she would have that feeling being that we have three kids from 18 down to 2. But when she talked to me about it it was because she didn't think she would get away with that at first but then she said she had second thoughts and she knew there's no way I would be okay with that no matter how tired I am.. now a lot of things make sense. We're lucky to have sex once a month and when I asked her about her lying to me she says that's her right and she should not have to talk to me about that. I don't know whether to think she's cheating on me or shes just got a cold heart. Please pray for my family because right now I don't have a clue what is going on or how to fix it.. now I can't even get her to go to church so I'm taking the two older kids to try to do my best as a leader but that's hard to do when I just want everything to be okay at home. But I do realize that that only happens by me doing my part

From a wife who's husband would just send me stuff and when he would come to church with me, would nudge me during a sermon and say "you should do this". What he wouldn't do is sit down with me, really listen to me, express himself, and talk with me from a place of love, encouragement, being humble, appreciation and respect. From a place of sharing, learning and willing to work on a marriage. There are a few videos out there from Jimmy which goes into how important this is. If you just point the finger but don't listen and really hear the other party... Guaranteed resentment and decline sets in. So maybe sit down with her rather than sending her stuff. And ask "darling, what will make you feel loved and appreciated in this marriage". It takes a serving heart from both parties to make a great marriage!

That really saddens my heart. I don’t even know you, and I could do thousands of times better than she’s treating you if I had made the decision to marry you. But she did, and somewhere buried under all that disrespect must be a reason she’s so cynical. I hope you’re a praying man. God is your only hope. I was married 36 years to a man who disrespected me much out of those years until he finally gave his heart to the Lord. What a difference Jesus made in his heart! I only had 10 good years and unfortunately he was too sick for any sex between us and died. but God is good and gave me a good man this time who loves the Lord and me.

I heard someone teach that marriage is like a garden in which each spouse sows and reaps. Ideally each spouse should be sowing 100%, but as life goes on the balance may become offset one way or another at times. But as you are faithful to sow into your wife and love her in the way that she needs right now, God is faithful to honor that and bring forth a harvest. Often when problems arise, it's a good time to ask God what can I learn from this, what do you want me to see? He doesn't cause the problems, but He can use it to help foster positive change in you. You're the only one you can control. Then in the meantime trust and believe God for HIM to change your wife's heart and just follow His lead. It may seem hopeless at first but with God there's always hope, you just have to stand firm and remain faithful to keep sowing those seeds. He will take care of the rest and He will take care of you. He deeply loves both of you and cares a great deal about the success of your marriage, even more than you do. You can trust that He is willing and able to work it out for your good 😊

How about for a sex tip you actually have to have sex with your spouse. 20 years in apparently I'm so disgusting that my wife doesn't want to touch me or be touched by me. But somehow she got pregnant with the one time per month we have sex and then tried to figure out a way to abort that child before telling me about it.. I'm so broken right now I don't know what else there is to say

Communicate with her. If you suspect someone else. Don't wait talk to her and start getting some counseling. I've been here before it's terrible. Communicate is key to a healthy marriage.
@wesv8743

@@allenwilliams4450 thank you. I just talked to her right off the bat mostly because she didn't tell me in this would be our fourth child and she never waited this long to talk to me about being pregnant before. Of course that made me wonder and when I asked she didn't say no she just said when would I have time to cheat which after half a day of thinking about it made me even more worried. If she did I don't know that any amount of counseling would work. I do love her so much but just the thought of her being like that with another man would probably end me. And it would definitely end my ability to be with her again. I truly praying on this is happens and my battle is with the Devil and not my wife. But sometimes recently it feels like she is taking the side of the enemy, instead of the side of the righteousness have a God. Almost like she's bitter to me and him both

@@wesv8743 I get it. Communicate without being angry. Your tone has to be loving if it's not then the fire is raging. I'm going through this also. I was able to get my wife to go to marriage counselor together and separately. I believe once a woman opens her heart to counseling. It seems to start the healing process and yours to. You should ask if she is willing to go to marriage counseling.

Being attracted to other people outside your marriage is no joke to laugh about. It's all funny until your spouse actually starts talking to someone else and starts actually having an emotional relationship with someone else. I know because my wife and I were just like you, joking about these things. Now we know better than to joke and laugh about it because it almost destroyed our marriage.

Same. My husband started talking to girls online. It almost destroyed our marriage. It was devastating to me. He hid it as long as he could. When I discovered these messages, I was shaking and nearly passed out. It took months for me to move past the anger and hurt this infidelity caused. No joking matter.
@staza1

@@cassandramoore9324 Yes, I can relate. My wife started talking to her gym instructor and ended up going out drinking with him. It almost ended our marriage and I'm still working on building trust with her. It's not wise for married couples to joke and make light of dating other people. It shows a lack of fear of the Lord and a lack of understanding of the power of the devil.
