Had the same thought. But to be fair, compared to the amount of effort it takes to change just a single detail of a cars body, then it does seem like your reshaping the entire car. To have a different hood design would require a whole new hood. To add a single line detail to the skirt, that would against require replacing the skirt. And to switch back would require the same amount of effort. Reality now is that the part has to be completely removed, it can’t just reshape back and forth at the press of a bottom. That’s when this simple idea start to look more impressive.
