Now that Brisbane’s in the game, the way I look at it, is that is my radar Mino so I don’t have to switch builds. I mentioned something similar regarding the Pan-Asian DDs. Imo they have the best smokes in the game so I use those and just play the Black when I want to play a radar DD.

well said. I had fun for the first 10 matches in the radar mino, as I had some cover. now I often get maps with little useful cover and tend to spawn on the side with the least cover. so I switched to smoke Mino and no one ever spots something. so much fun :D

The Mino I fought last night was buffed...survived 4 Montana salvos at less than 10km while his teammates rained Hell on me. Most of my teammates were dead 5 minutes in so of course no support. GG AARon, enjoyed watching👍

First thing I did during the carrier week of Armageddon, was take out ships like the mino and rework her for AA. I ever took my Tiger 59 out to try and stave off the nasty carrier mechanics.

Wish we got another Alaska. Such as Hawaii… just have it as something different and hope it’s not like congress. Alaska is a fun ship it’d be nice to have another version of it to play around with.

Never ran her with smoke. I'm finding the carriers avoiding the AA, same with the Plymouth. There still seems to be enough DD heavy games for me to stick with radar at the moment. Love the element of surprise too as everyone expects smoke builds for the most part

I got the mino two days ago, first game 3.6k xp this ship is a damage monster and I love it. But playing LT solo is hard for mental, already lost two 4K games because blue team

Considering Brisbane is a Minotaur class cruiser , could Brisbane be played like mino with AP ? Or would the dpm not be the same

The AP is slightly weaker so probably not

Minotaur has higher AP dpm due to a shorter reload and has short-fused AP (Brisbane doesn’t) with better pen angles. That short-fused AP means you have almost zero chance of overpening BB superstructures and can completely obliterate a DD that is showing it’s side to you

Mino is insanely good if it goes unnoticed. But you cant get caught broadside, even going bow in on most battleships is certain death. One thing though, dont get caught by a Schultz or a Elbing broadside, i devstruck a Mino in Schultz in about two hits.

Mino is one of the hardest cruisers to play if you run the radar, and it can be super beneficial for your team

it's a catch 22...for example this game. The radar was completely unnecessary and I gave my team a lot more benefit with the smoke. However when you do need that radar...

@@whereruaaron yeah the smoke can be very beneficial for your team for farming lots of damage and punishing people's positions. The radar is just so hard to play usually, and I prefer it when I'm in a div

You damage 151k damage / 268 shot´s = 564 damage per shot... and you don´t receive damage... You make play in cover isle for hidden... I don't think shadow buff...

I'd say it mine-o-tor, other people might say min-o-tor. The second group would probably shorten in to mine-o rather than min-o though as it is easier to say.
