For nothing else, the eye appears less clouded and swollen. He’s more comfortable.

Reminds me from 1966 when I would take my horse to the harvest festival and would lead children on his back. I would have as many as 3 at a time. That was super cool. Well behaved children. Spur stood the show. ❤ North Carolina

Every pony needs their very own kind and loving kids…….8-) And clearly this little guy was loved and cared by someone when he was younger. His first child probably out grew him and he sadly ended up with cruel and/or neglectful people.

He’s a wonderful and kind pony with a spectacular trot! He’d be a great driving pony. The bit seems to bother him. Thank you for rescuing him! The kids should take riding lessons first so they don’t cause him pain

I have a cataract that use to bloom and itch constantly. Very hard to see then due to blurry light halos and constant fog. Spur is an awesome pony! He never flinched when the kids were on him or getting on and off ! I still believe in his past life he had formal training and then became a lead line pony, as he followed you when the kids were on him. God lead him right to you, to be his protector.

Spur was blessed to have your love and care.... Spur's sweet soul is shining like a candle light ❣️ I hope that every minute, of the remainder of Spurs life, is filled with gentle, loving care and appreciation ❣️ I saw Spur's eye move with awareness when you waved your hand in front of him.... even if he doesn't regain full vision, any at all would give him more comfort. You can feel confident, as well, that Spur is not in pain.... May our Heavenly Father shower all of you with His blessings ❣️

I'm a city boy, and didn't see a horse or a ranch till I was in my mid twenties. After seeing two of your videos, it seem like missed something. Great to see this little pony is doing so much better, and he (and you) did a great job with the kids. God has blessed you both with great family's. Loved the kid's being kid's. What a gentle pony!

I definitely think he’s getting vision in his left eye. It’s looking so much better and he’s blinking and when you put your hand up he did look over. Yay! I hope it continues to improve.

Spur is a very patient horse, they eye watering may be becouse he is not blinking enough. He is so good with the young one and the older ones scrabbling up don't worry him. I know were there of the time and he follows you. Eve if he's manly a companion horse, he is such a good horse!!!

Spur just keeps looking better and his eye is much clearer. I hope he gets his vision back…at least some of it. He sort of looks like a pony I had as a girl. But she (Ginger) was as stubborn as a mule and did not want to be rode. It didn’t help that I and my brothers were scared of her, but of course she knew that and used it to her advantage. She was a ginger red little pony, hence her name.

So fun seeing the kids on Spur. I wanted a horse so bad growing up but my Dad told me I could have a horse if I fenced in enough acreage in the pasture. I was 10. Anyway I gave it one heck of a try. I finally gave up after digging about 15 post holes using a shovel and an old manual post hole digger. There was no way I was going to get that done myself. Looking back, I wish I hadn’t given up. I might have gotten done by the time I was in high school 🙂. Now at 62 and disabled it would take an adapted saddle for me to ride but unfortunately the movement of riding would be detrimental to my pain issues. My Dad ended up using my post holes for a new pig pen. 🐖

I've watched every video about Spur , I think, and I've never seen him act anything but the perfect pony. When y'all did his feet, to letting y'all treat his eyes and now with the kids. Couldn't ask for better behavior. A special little guy. And from here it looks like he's getting some vision out of his left eye. Y'all know more about that but I definitely think he's starting to see. How wonderful. Imagine his joy of seeing again from that side. His anxiety gets cut dramatically. He really is a good little pony!!

this pony understands the child's weight and tries to come under the child when he/she becomes out of balance. i had an american saddlebred that did the same, she was a complete babysitter.

WOW What a great comeback for a good pony . Your hard work really paid off. I think you are right about his sight in the eye. One of my race horses took a crop in the eye. It healed eventually With some sight in it.

They use a cement adhesive to glue those stickers on, I just leave them. They come off when they start shedding their winter coat.
