This game is a little addicting. This was fun to watch as well. You freaking out to the changes were great. Just know that if it’s just a square, you can get away with 1-2 houses for a bit and I wouldn’t worry about connecting all the same color together. It wastes roads. Just connect enough houses for each structure.

Blitz was a civil engineer, although he commonly worked on hydro machines there's no telling whether or not he did work on roads!

Separating colours barely helps at all. You should instead limit the number of vehicles using a particular path

blitz use diagonal roads more often it will save you road tiles since you need as many as you can get

Just a tip - building roads on diagonals uses less road tiles than straight, right angle routes

I haven’t finished the video yet, so maybe you figured this out already…you can go all 8 directions on a roundabout. You just have to treat the center as the connection point instead of the edges

people talk trash about traffic lights, but if you just gotta find out the right way to use them they are a God send when used correctly, just don't have too many roads connected to the traffic lights

they got updated, now they're quite good roundabouts are preferable but traffic lights are smaller, and still work fine

Useful tip instead of doing L turns you can place a road diagonal to save roads

I find it really funny that I've watched a civil engineer and a roadways engineer (?) play this game and get similar scores, and you got almost double their scores.

If you do more diagonal roads you will save roads and not constantly be out of roads. If you go up 1 and over 1 you are using 2, if you use a diagonal road you use 1.

You want to use traffic lights when houses connect to the start of a busy road or a large neighborhood.

Blitz if a motorway is blocking your sight you can move the sign and it will curve so you are able to see No need to move the entry points as it will cause problem in traffic
