I'd rate Mason pretty high, too but Hamish is just legendary. Perfect side character with a sad ending. I woulda liked to see more of him tbh. Mason too tho. His missions were always pretty relaxing and chill

random fact if people didnt know but after you finish his last side mission you can go to saint denis to watch them at a play at the theatre or whatever and they will give you a letter and money after the show.
