At the very least, I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.

Amazing content, you could teach this in schools :D I am doing dropshipping as a side hustle (started with barely 200$, so almost nothing), and it's paying off great now. I have at least 13000$ profits from income last six months. Always remember that consistency and hard work will pay off somehow (with a little bit of winnerzila of course, their product suggestions and their service is absolutely vital for this business). I hope that everyone is going to succeed one day.

Hi Joshua, your content is really amazing! ✨ Regarding the websites, should we or should we not provide SEO, or should we charge separately for SEO? Also, the most confusing part is, after creating the website, how to fully hand it over to the client? I mean, initially, the payments and billings for hosting and domain will be handled from our side. How do we transition the payments to the client's side and completely sever all connections with the website, unless the client requests us to maintain it? Also, how to plan the pricing for maintainance? Thanks in advance! ❤

Thanks for another helpful video series. If you haven't already can you answer the question if or when to start an llc for this agency. Also, what about contracts? Thanks again!
@JoshuaMayo
@JoshuaMayo 8 ай бұрын
Hey Ella, I actually has a part in this video that talked about exactly this, but I decided to remove it last minute to cut back on the videos length a little. So you aren’t required to incorporate your agency (turn it into an LLC), you can absolutely run it as a sole proprietorship. With this, there’s nothing you have to do. By default, everyone who makes money outside of W-2 income is categorized as a sole proprietor. You don’t have to do anything with the State like how you would if you chose to incorporate into an LLC or S-Corp or something. And for contracts, what I did was use a free web development services agreement from PandaDoc, and then changed the info to match my agency name etc. If you wanted, you could pay an attorney a couple hundred bucks to craft a contract up for you, but I chose to go the free route back when I was doing it. But to kind of give you an idea of what should be outlined in the contract, things like: the scope of the services to be provided; the project timeline; the specification of the website; the acceptance procedure and criteria;the payment terms. I hope this helps!

Hi Joshua, I love this series! I’ve always was interested in making websites, I appreciate the content. One question that I have is, how do I transfer the domain I created for the client to the clients domain? Thanks again!
@JoshuaMayo
@JoshuaMayo 8 ай бұрын
Hey King, do you mean the actual domain, like www.website.com, or the website itself? Because both require different processes. To transfer the website from your server to the clients server, I used a Wordpress plugin called All-In-One WP Migration. It was a plugin that you installed, and then pressed one single button that said Download, and the plugin would spit out a single file for you. You would then take that file, go to the clients server, create a Wordpress install on the clients server, install the All-In-One WP Migration plugin and then upload the same file that you just downloaded from your server. And in a matter of minutes (depending on how large the site was) the entire site would be migrated (migrate is another word for transfer). It was super easy. Now to transfer an actual domain name, this is a somewhat annoying process. For future reference, I always had the client buy the domain name on THEIR end, that way I didn’t have to worry about transferring it once their new website was finished. But essentially what you have to do is unlock the domain name from your domain host, and then request to transfer it out to your clients domain host. The client would obviously need to have a domain host setup on their end for this to work. But basically there has to be a digital “handshake” between the two domain hosts, and the whole process can take a few days. Definitely reach out to your domain host’s customer support though to have them help you with the process, and again, always always make the client buy their domain name on their end.

I’d like to get a better understanding of how to price a build. Do you charge per page, per amount of content…etc. Also to get more practice one can signup with a volunteer organization and build free websites. You can get practice and testimonials.😁
@JoshuaMayo
@JoshuaMayo 8 ай бұрын
I actually was planning on discussing pricing in the next video, but I’ll go over it now too with you. So the pricing can be done in two ways. And if you’re planning on niching down like how I discussed in this video, the latter option is better. But the first way to price a website build is in an itemized way. For example, let’s say the client wanted a 10 page website that included a blog, newsletter sign up, and a way for people to schedule a meeting via a calendar on the website (these are just examples). I would break it down and and say, okay, my standard rate per page is $200 ($200 x 10 pages), to integrate a blog is $500, a newsletter is $450, etc. I’m just throwing out random numbers to give you an idea, but after adding everything up, you’ll typically end up in the ballpark of $2,000-$5,000 for most clients. The second option is to create specialized websites for companies in a specific niche. These specialized websites are essentially all built the same for every client, with the exception that the website obviously looks different to match a company’s branding. But the way to price these types of websites is more of a “fixed pricing”. And so $10k, $15k, $20k, whatever you think accurately represents the value you are providing for the company. I know this sounds like a lot of money, and it is, but I think it’s important to understand that these are businesses we’re dealing with, and most businesses have marketing budgets, advertising budgets, and a lot of different money that they can toss around to continue to get leads. And so as long as you can convince a business that the $15,000 website you are going to build for them will actually make them MORE money than the $15,000 they are about to spend, most businesses will spend the $15,000. I hope this helps, sorry if it’s a lot I’m trying to fit a lot of information in.

Hello! My biggest question is after you get a client and after the website has been done. How do you transfer it to the client? Also do you give them full access or do a monthly service for them and you keep the website access and just update stuff throughout the month? Also how many websites are you allowed to manage thought the web hosting cite? All that seems very confusing to me.

Hey Dave, these are all great questions. I will definitely address all of these in the next video, because there’s definitely a process. I agree with everything Joshua apart from making fake reviews for customers. That’s kinda sussy behaviour bro and isn’t something I think you should really be encouraging others to do if you want them to succeed long term. I would have said just leave the reviews out until you get some real ones and if any potential customer asks about reviews, you can just tell them you are starting out. Clients always prefer honesty than finding out later you were using scammy methods. Bad foundation for business no matter how temporary. Too many people already doing shady stuff like that online

It's all a numbers game. I sent out hundreds, thousands of pitches and messages and "bids"... At some point you start getting replies, doing jobs for low prices until you can prove you've got a little skill and have experience. Naturally with more experience you increase your prices and with more work you get better at navigating each project. Then you start getting repeat clients and so on... all a numbers game and all dependent on how much time and work you can put in.

I admit I have never actually tried things such as "website development", but just looking at them going through the details of setting these things up... it just makes my head spin. Maybe I am only meant to focus on simple side hustles, such as: cleaning roofs and gutters, parking lot cleaning business, window cleaning, power washing, delivering medical supplies, etc.
