You should never immediately fall back to use lineups. Fight with your team, then fall back on lineups, by going straight for them you're giving the enemies enough time to clear site and then push you, but he's also not timing them well either, just launching them.

I think his problem is that he's too focused on landing his lineups. He should use it as a sort of last resort. Also he just keeps dying. 😢

I feel like I played really similar to him when i was stuck silver, it’s like the tools to succeeding are there (hence why he made dia once) but just a lack of awareness, poor decision making, feeling a little lost of where to be to help, all outweighs it. Those last couple rounds in a highlight reel hid most of his weaknesses, just gotta play a more consistent and polished game

So he really doesn't know 100 lineups if he uses a 2nd monitor to show him the lineups. Which means his gameplay is Silver, and his lineups (that he just looks at) aren't enough to make up for the silver playstyle and game sense. Also, it's really clear he doesn't know, and hasn't practiced most of these lineups. The amount of time it takes him to line it up, and then miss it. If you actually took the time to practice these you would know why you are aiming where you are for a lineup, and where you need to be standing. I only ever peaked in Gold, but I actually took the time to learn Sova lineups for arrows. I knew and practiced 3-4 good lineups for game start on every site for the maps that were available at launch. My aim is what ultimately kept me out of anything higher than Gold, and I know lineups aren't meaningful enough to make me Diamond.

22:17 I think he’s not actually playing like a real controller. He seems like he just picks brim for lineups, not as a smoker. Rather he should pick maybe someone like kj. He is smoking late in every round and entering the sites with his ipad open. He’s is overwhelmed with the task of smoking. A controller player must know how to play smokes as they can make or break the entire match. His less number of kills will not make his team lose the match, but not understanding the role of controller will.

i have 13 brim line ups for bind there are like 3 of them are useless in reality 2 are a 70 percent landing due to b having uneven surface

Back when I focus on playing lineup, I have like 10 lineups for each map (except maps where I play omen). Now I don't really play lineup too much but I still remember like 7 lineup for fracture, and 6 for bind (and if I forgot I can just go back to my recording mid match XD )

I'm also a silver brim main with approximately 100 lineups but here's you need to remember don't rely on lineups too much cz u have to frag as well and give ur team the support they need to plant the bomb then u can go play time And also to answer eggwick's question u should have different lineups for same bomb plants otherwise the enemy team players are gonna predict ur lineup spots and kill u first

I play on Brazil server so idk how good players from other servers are, but if I had to guess a rank just based on his game sense and play style I would say he's silver/gold. I won't judge his aim cause I have days when my aim is just awful and maybe he is in one of those days.

As soon as I saw his smokes, it's a dead giveaway that he doesn't really know how to play his role. He's mainly playing as a duelist. He also has a bad habit of fully smoking and just running in which gets him killed as well as his teammates. I.e. B, his ct smoke is really bad as it lets enemies cross to B link, also the way he burst smokes denies info for his teammate and allows the enemies to hide in them

Diamond brim main here (he’s my 2nd most played). I have exactly 3 lineups. I promise you lineups aren’t as important as tiktok clips make them seem, and having 100 of them is a complete waste of time. If this guy stopped practicing lineups and spent that time in aimlab and deathmatch he would easily reach plat.

his issue is that his lineups take not only too long to land but he actually has been diamond before which indicates he used good lineups in the past and is now using bad ones based on the common occurance where you over value your life and you start looking for said life as a factor in your lineups. his first lineup where he tried to deny default plant by entering the Teleport proved this to me because i already know a faster lineup for that spot where it lands as soon as you hear bomb tap AND because i dont over value my life i understand the enemies will learn very quickly i played for a lineup and thus will hunt me down in a small lane they must push down so i can get free 1v1. if you notice in his lineup they defused the bomb before it was even down. if you wanna know my better lineup all you have to do is after planting for A default you quickly go back to A main while guns are up for a potential flanker and when your back is touching the A main wall you look at the black bold A symbol painted above where the default plant spot seems to be from where your standing. you can hear bomb from there aswell as relatively safe aside from potential flanker and it lands fast so you dont have to worry about them halving the bomb plus it lands so quick some people think they can get half in time but they cant so thats a free kill. if your giga afraid they chase down your lane to 1v1 you just jump spot multiple times so they dont W key you so hard and are in aim mode. im an ascendant player who gave up playing brimstone back in the day to become a phoenix one trick. i was platinum as brimbstone and directly afterwards diamond and since then platinum. heres my tracker so you know im not giving bullshit advice. tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/FFAplayerMW3No1%23HOOJ/performance as you can see i climbed rather quickly given i only had 37 hours in competitive at the time.

Lineups are not meant to be always relied on. I have tons of them and I like doing them but it's not meant to be your entire strategy.

after watching the first game I def think he doesn't deserve diamond. even tho I think he has a reasonable impact (disregarding his kd) he needs to win more 1v1s to be a diamond. Maybe he does better off stream but from what I saw he doesn't have calm aim whatsoever and he constantly either tries to spray down hoping for rng or flick on heads, which he can't do yet. To be honest, it's great that he has so many lineups and they are impactful and did win his team several rounds even if he got no kills nut such lineups only work in higher elo if you're being honest. In silver/gold hell even diamond many times it doesn't come to the lineup its just a straight up 5v5 aim brawl. He maybe fine spraying hoping for rng in silver but for anything more than that he needs to work on aim. If he manages to climb to asc or immo with his aim then his lineups are gonna be deadly and have an insanely large impact on the game. For now, just focus on the aim side of things if u really wanna be a better player. all love tho
