I spent every week skating with this guy for most of my teen years, ever since we were 11 or 12 and just starting out with ollies n shit, he's always been crazy talented. Glad to see him get the recognition he's one of the best in the city, and a really chill dude

I'm so so proud of Longjai! Happy to see he's getting the love and spotlight he deserve - we started skating around the same time, and I still remember how quickly he picked up new tricks and how bold he was! I met him back in 2010? Or earlier? Back when Meifoo was still blue and gray lol His English has also improved a lot!

One of my favorite cities ever, I've been there 4 times, there so much to see and do. Ultra dense cities but beautiful spaces right next to some beautiful nature, all accessible by public transportation. Great video! Long seems like a great guy. I hope you can also make it to Shenzhen, super quick bullet train from HK.

Saw Long skate once and he's so chilled. Visited HK for 2 weeks saw the amazing skateparks but didn't have my skateboard so went to the 8Five2 to get a brand new setup because I could not miss out! Skated everyday in the scorching sun but worth it

Fun fact: In Hong Kong, the main language spoken is Cantonese. Most of China speaks Mandarin, so it makes Hong Kong quite unique. Many locals there can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English! The younger they are, the more likely they speak more than just Cantonese.

You were in the more "local" parts of Hong Kong, hence the lack of English. If you managed to visit HK island, especially expat areas like Central and Sheung Wan, it would've been much more like Singapore in terms of the level of English. I have many foreign friends who were born and raised here, and can only speak English 😅
