God I absolutely love your reaction to all there songs, I have been a life long quo fan forever, seen them so many times it’s a shame you won’t see the original line up,saw them at Live aid.they use to play a 3 hour show none stop ,the audience were as tired as the band, QUO FOREVER you have to check out end of the road 84 concert

I grew up with Status Quo, as my old man was a super-fan of theirs, and a truck driver, so he had access to material not yet released in Sweden (where I grew up) through his trips to Germany, the Netherlands and France, who were all miles ahead of us when it comes to rock music in the 80's.... SQ are a class act!

I was there at Milton Keynes! End of the road tour and Quo stopped performing live! I was 17. Now, 2024.... Quo is still performing. Parfitt and Lancaster are dead 😢 but they still Rock 😊

first concerts I ever took my 4 kids too were Quo concerts,(they even met them) when they were just knee high, now all 4 of them have a love of rock and roll, more rock than roll of course.. Thanks for reacting

I am 50yrs old now, I have been a fan of Quo since I was 5! My father introduced me to them and I was hooked. Quo Live is an awesome album and you must hear their early stuff too like "Someone's Learning" and 'Don't Waste My Time' from their album Piledriver, but then, what the hell, listen to them all!!!! If you want another concert to watch then go for the 'End Of/More From The Road' concert from 1984 with the original line up!

This intro has been told as the best intro ever..! And then the twin Telecaster, nothing can beat that sound! 😆 Also some other song from the Glastonbury festival in UK you can find, is great.. Otherwise try "In the Army now", both album from 1986 and Live.. or a ballad "Rock'n'Roll" from 1981, Don't Waste my Time is a classig from 1972, and other great hits..! "Is There A Better Way?"

Still have the EP bought in '79 when they released that song. I play it for years with my band in regular tuning and only learned much later that Parfitt's guitar was tuned in drop D (no internet back then!) 😁

Played the live album so much on my cheapo cassette player I wore out the tape.... Happy Daze. If it were not for Quo I don't think I would have taught myself to play guitar, a bit of a challenge back in the days of no free guitar lessons on the Internet. The kids today don't know how easy they.... etc etc....

1988, it's summer, me and my mate are driving through the city playing status quo, bonnie tyler and motörhead. Later that night I'm we're meeting up with the girls and we all end up on the beach around the fire before we go into their tents and .... from there the history of us is told. This is yet another standard as far as Quo are concerned. This isn't the best rendition of this song, it has to be said, but it's another toe-tapping song that gets you going without a doubt. From the same titled album from 1979, it reached No.4 in the UK charts. One from the slightly later era of Quo, it still has what it takes. Maybe you could try the slightly melodic, 'Dirty Water', or maybe, 'Hold You Back', as a comparison to this song? In the meantime, there's a few others that have already been mentioned that you should consider. Roadhouse Blues Forty-Five Hundred Times Slow Train (album version) Backwater/Just Take Me Little Lady/Most Of The Time, (album version) Mystery Song (album version) Junior's Wailing In My Chair Shy Fly Someone's Learning Don't Waste My Time Oh Baby Blue-eyed Lady Softer Ride.

We pronounce it "Stay-tus Quo" in the UK, but let's not be picky. Hello! (1973) was the first album I bought with my pocket money. Sadly, I never got to see them play live. When I went to university in 1976 I discovered that the Student's Union had booked Quo for their Summer Ball the previous year. Apparently the best £1000 they ever spent.

The intro , in my opinion, is the best into of all time, But you MUST listen to the Studio version for its full effect. Status Quo ( English pronounced Stay,tus Quo) should have been massive world wide. As i heard it, Quo management weren't prepared to grease up the American promoters/ radio stations so got very little air play.

Nice to see a new Quo fan. I've been a fan since I was literally a baby thanks to my Dad (40 years this year). It's a shame the footage from that gig is not the full gig. The number one all time live fan favourite is Forty-Five Hundred Times BUT it's 20 min long.
