Yes Frank Sinatra's daughter. She was also in the movie with the Elvis Presley called Speedway where she sings. Speedway is so funny it also has Bill Bixby who later played in the TV show The incredible hulk. Elvis movies are addictive. ♥️❤️✌️

I was 9 years old when this song came out in 1966. All the girls in my neighborhood wanted boots like these after Nancy came out with this song. We called them go-go boots back then. My mom bought me a pair for Christmas that year. It's funny how music can bring back so many memories. I remember dancing on the hood of our car in those boots. Like Nancy did coming down those stairs, I gracefully danced from the hood of the car stepping down on the trunk, then on the street. I memorized every word of this song and made a whole routine and danced with friends in the neighborhood in those "sexy" boots when I was young. We also danced in the street to Harper Valley PTA. Don't worry I didn't hurt the car at all, back then they were solid and never made any dents when you climbed on top. Nancy Sinatra is Frank Sinatra's daughter.

@@strangemoonshine5257 Thank you, that's very kind of you. :-) Seriously, the smiling thing though: it's fascinating to look at at any group photo with a mixture of men and women in it. Who in the photo is smiling? 90% of the time, it's us! Trying to appear pleasing, and harmless...unlike those surly fellers, who on the whole, don't seem to feel that obligation. I wonder why? Not that there's anything wrong with being nice. I'm all for women and men being kind and caring. It's just that it shouldn't be coerced niceness, based on gender. I love how you both listen, really listen to the lyrics. Yes, she is Frank’s daughter. She is 83 now.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it, but I've read that Lee Hazelwood, who wrote the song, played it for Frank Sinatra and he said, "I guy can't sing that song. It has to be a woman." Nancy sure did it up right!

My older brother loved this song as a child. Of course he didn't know all the words, but he loved singing about the boots

This song was wqritten by Lee Hazelwood, Nancy's longtime songwriting partner. Check out "Summerwine" where they do a duet. Keep up the great reviews!

Their duettes are absolutely unmatched. Summer wine, some velvet morning, ladybird, sundown... one banger after another!

mini skirts, go go boots, nehru shirts with puffy sleeve shirts was the attire of the late 60s. Frank Sinatra's daughter at her finest!
