This album came out last week and dude just listened to 8 songs and has the audacity to say its mid. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Am sorry I think am too old fashioned. I listen to albums like for months before giving my honest opinion. This guy is the epitome of laziness

I know this is 6 days late, but OMG I was destined to see your comment. So basically for me Renaissance and SOS are both great, but in my view the perfect album would have been a combination of both sounds. To me Renaissance was great and no album has made me want to live life as much as Renaissance (such a great ppst pandemic album), but I needed a little bit of pain and sadness especially given how great Beyonce is at coveying such emotions. So when I listened to SOS I was like "OMG this is the vibe I was missing on Renaissance part 1 and wished Beyonce would deliver something lile that for part 2". But while listening to SOS, I also wished SZA had a little more positive bops like in Renaissance or her song "Conceited" just to balance things out because as you said it the album is quite "low vibration".

This is facts. I got attacked for listening to "honestly nevermind" and not liking it and giving critique of it within a few days. I got a lot of people saying I just need to give it some time. Listen to it again. Let it sink in. We just not used to that kind of music or I don't like house. I did...multiple times and the more I did, the more I started hating it. The more I started finding more qualities in it that made it trash music. Lol. People aren't even talking about it anymore. And I'm from Chicago, I grew up around house. I love that shit. But yeah, it does get really frustrating when people tell you that. If people not fucking with it, they not fucking with it.
