you know what carries extra water? A bottle attached to the frame of your bike. Maybe a second bottle. If that's not enough for my bike rides, i either take a 2l or a 3l camelbak hydration pack. never had an issue and been riding for over 20 years.

Just get a 1/2 gallon water pack and or better yet, an H2O filter. Hardcore 4wd nuts sometimes fill their tires 1/2 full of water. Thats for purposes of Cg. But Ive never heard of anyone drinking the water later.

PhD in materials science here Even if the material is approved as food safe by the FDA, fdm 3D printed parts can't be classified as such because the little layer ridges make for an optimal platform for bacteria to grow on, and they're basically impossibile to clean aswell.
