I just got my first AliExpress chronograph. Pagani Design PD1644 for about the same price. I really like it including the Seiko VK63 mecaquartz movement. Alot of watch for not much money too. Regards Matt

For a chrono give me a VK67 over a VK63 every day and twice on Sunday. The 24 hour sub-dial on the latter is mostly useless whereas having a 60 minute AND 12 hour timer from the former is great. If we are being honest with ourselves all of these are mostly pieces of jewelry so looks really is the most important thing and keeping decent time is "kind of" important. From that perspective I understand some preferring this aesthetic.

I do agree, even though I have a Pulsar Solar Chronograph, an Orient Panda, and a Pagani Design Mission to Uranus homage, all with a 24 hour subdial, though all with different movements. I have discovered 2 possible uses for the 24 hour subdial though. 1. You're spending a week in Las Vegas and, as you probably know, none of the Casinos have any clocks, so at least with the subdial you'll know whether you're losing your money during the day or the night ! 😂 The second use is a bit darker. There's been a nuclear war and you have to live in tunnels for up to 6 months and you need to keep track of day and night for body clock purposes. I did go to LV many years ago, but hopefully I'll never need the subdial for the second reason !

@@brianmsahin I picked up the "Mission to Mars" but with black chrono bezel put on an engineer bracelet and really like it. Truth be told I am not really a "chrono" fan, but if the PD1703 drops to my target price I will get it and probably a titanium field VK67 eventually as well.

It's a very nice watch Simon, thanks for the review. It's nice to see good lume on a chronograph. On my more expensive Orient and Pulsar solar, the lume is nothing to write home about. Just one thing on this Cadisen, the subdial hands are very hard to see. They should have put some colour on those.

I just got mine in black..its a a beauty especially when the charged lume glows during the day,looks really special...and i got it for £30 inc delivery with coupons!!..its the third watch i bought based on your reviews.. keep up the good work my man!

It’s not a bad watch for the price, but it seems they didn’t think a few things through. For not much more, you have literally 20 different watches you can get from Pagani. Thanks for the great review! And who’s the Muppet who complained about your lighting? It’s free content mate!

Good review 👍 . It is a nice looking watch, but your three negative points are important to me, and I would add the pointless 24 dial as pants too.

The movement can be replaced with the VK63A with new hands, and the butterfly clasp can also be replaced with a traditional one. Or you have to wait for V2, like me.
