WELCOME TO THE OKOMFO ANOKYE SWORD SITE
The sword has been in the ground for 325 years.
The ‘non removable’ Sword driven into the ground or soil by Okomfo Anokye remains and is venue of the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. History has it that the sword was pushed into the ground, almost 300 years ago. It is believed the Okomfo pronounced that no one would be able to remove the sword, and so it has remained in spite of attempts. The Ashanti state, it is believed, would collapse should the sword ever be pulled out of the ground. I hope you do learn some Ashanti history and culture.
Thanks for watching
I hope you love this video.
I love you all
God bless you
See you on the next video 😍🇬🇭

OKOMFO ANOKYE is from Awukugwa, Akuapim. Even Asantehene went to his home about 3 to 4 years ago and the whole visit is on the net and was shown on national TV. His name came from the fact that he was born with small bodua in his hands so the people around to his father (who was called ANO) to see (KYE - Kyirepon guan language) what the child was holding. That gave him the name ANOKYE. He is not an Ashanti. stop this arrogant lies

@@JudithSerwaa19 yes I really wanna know more on how they relate. Because I know the Spiderman story was made from the Ananse stories from we the Akans after our ancestors who were captured to the West and Europe. Anansesem or Ananse story is part of the knowledge banks of African descendants in the maroons and in the west. I just compared the story of Okomfo Anokye and Otumfour Osei Tutu I to that of the characters in the story he made mention of and it's beginning to to make more sense but I want him to educate me more on who how the story made its way out there and why the switch of characters.
