The French tech tree in War Thunder has a lot of vehicles based on the AMX-13, with one of the most potent being the premium AMX-13-M24 light tank. It doesn't look very nice, but it definitely gets the job done.

Fun fact, if you look into the x-ray of this tank you’ll see that the turret ring is still on the amx hull, meaning that either gaijin messed stuff up or the armored box neck is just protected a elongated m24 turret.

i heard you hate british vehicles, vehicles that do no damage and vehicles that are basically CAS magnets, so i think you should play the ratel 90; a gigantic british light tank with no armor, that only gets 90mm HEAT with a 7 second aced reload and that somehow always gets strafed by planes before it's even allowed to leave spawn (day 37)

Apparently it had a very long service career. After satisfactory use in Algeria, they were brought back to France where they became driver training vehicles by replacing the gun and gun mantlet with a Plexiglas window. They were used into the 80’s like that, when they were phased out and either scrapped or shot to pieces as range targets.

Heya spook! I think an interesting video would be on the TKX(p), the reason I say this, is because the TKX(p) is effectively the same as the TKX, but without some of the additional rolled armor (and just Dm33). What I enjoy to do in the TKX(p) is considering it has pneumatic suspension, with your dozer you can make some pretty fun hull down positions.

My first french premium and one that sits comfortably in my 5.7 line up This things amazing, the chaffee gun is literally the exact same as the amx 13s in regards to pen, its a little lower velocity, and little slower fom th extra wight, but it gets a 50 cal and better armour around the turret, so all things considered its a good upgrade over thr standard low br amx 13

My son used this to shortcut the French tree. We were able to research the entire French tier-1 in 1.5 to 2 hours and avoided much suffering. Well worth the $12 in Golden Eagles. Although now he has used the AMX-M4 much more than the AMX-13-M24.

usually the way I can tell the SU-152 and the ISU-152 apart is by looking at the shape of the superstructure, although it's probably other things as well since they just look different to me.

Its been a while since I used it, but I remembered that the clackity ass engine/transmission sounds really tied the whole goblin aesthetics together perfectly. Edit: I'm pretty sure there's a datamine doc which displays that most Russian barrels have half or twice the HP of other nation's barrels.

Hey spooks! I think you should play the Turan III, its my favorite tank and in my opinion the best tank in the italian tech tree. Great gun, ferocius speed (both fowards and in reverse), has extra armor against HEAT and HE shells and the cupula is as far as i know immune to everything.

Gotta recommend the Ratel 20. Having the armament of the Marder IFVs while siting at the same BR as the Type 60 ATM and Zachlam Tager is kinda nutty. With both a 20mm and a SACLOS ATGM its also fairly effective at downing planes. BONUS you can switch into the commander's MG after firing the missile to aim it with only your machine gun poking over a hill.

I think the reason this thing exists is causd the normal amx13s gun had a horrendous HE round which proved to be a problem on anti insurgency operations, so they grabbed some chaffe turrets and just stuck them onto the hulls

I love all the Chaffees in the game, including this one. The only downside to it is that it is just Rank II, but luckily can be ran with the Rank III BR 3.7 lineup, at least in AB. I wonder if we'll see the reverse of this in the future - Chaffee hull with AMX-13 turret.
