what ruined season 1 for me is the fact that there IS a season 1. I grinded so long for a god squad all to just not be able to use most of these cards again. its like i did it all for nothing.

The content in general this year has been awful. We only really got a handful of actual programs. The rest were just season awards programs and packs.

Just started my first ever Diamond Dynasty team last Thursday and at first I was having fun on the road to World Series and I got a few of the free 99’s like Prince, Byron, Luis Matos, etc but ever since I’ve gotten deeper into my WS run I’ve consistently been running into people who clearly spend money on the game and it’s kinda been annoying so hopefully this next season they go away from that. Love the vids btw Fuzz been watching for 5+ years!

I don't mind some stuff being behind packs, but give us opportunities to earn those packs instead of just buying them. And go back to series collections like mlb 22

The season awards and the packs. As well as the chapter 3 TA limited missions. Yeah it was shorter but it took so long to get the missions and level up in each division program

I don't understand how madden and 2k can have 4 or 5 content drops per week and mlb has 1 why does sony hate the working class and sets a daily cap not a weekly cap why did I get a 99 from programs before I could get a Boss pack? Oh ya because they made the xp path so long I could walk to Japan on foot faster then this xp path you want us to buy packs but never had a Stub sale why not make every card sellable even collections so the working class that don't have time could buy

Haven’t used any of the xp bosses or the collection rewards but I really wanted 99 Ketel marte but I’m not spending over 100k stubs for someone that’s gonna disappear on a couple weeks!

Off topic, but Robert Gasser is a brewers LHP, the organization called up about a month ago. He’s known for his wicked sweeper and really good sinker. Sadly just recent after his 5th start he started have elbow problems, so he’s currently being looked at. Could potentially need TJ surgery, which would suck for the brewers because Gasser was one of the best starting pitchers they had this year with a 2-0 count and several shut out games.

Foul ball 24, that's what has ruined the game. When you have to throw 70 pitches in 4innings and your oppent has 40 fouls in 4 innings. It gets hard to play.

The thing that ruined the game for me was that all the packs in programs are no sell so I have Trevor Story and Niko Goodrum witch are about 40000 stubs each and I don’t use Niko any more so it is hard for me to get stubs.

I have actually somewhat enjoyed gameplay this year. It has felt more input driven than any other year I’ve played. Content is good and awful at the same time. 99 Walker? 99 Rollins? 99 Chipper, and a 99 Griffey? The hyper cards played well. On the other hand… what incentive do I have to unlock these season 2 cats? And why do I want to go back and unlock a bunch low-rated diamonds that aren’t really new or fresh? And then I’ll be in the same boat where I put in all that work for no play. For example, and I’m sure I’m not the only one, George Brett got unlocked for me and I maybe played 1 online game with him. Rollins and Walker had 0 Ranked Seasons appearances. The rest of the season 1 collection and XP bosses were absolutely not in the lineup. They hide them behind all this XP and collections… Wild card slots, you kidding me? You throw out all these dudes in season 1, and I may be able to work a couple in by the time season 2 is done, but I look at it being the same exact situation as season 1. This is why I’m turned off by the game. My wife worked a 12 hour shift yesterday, and I sat at home and didn’t touch it. I’ll play a game, and just feel tired of it before it’s completed. Again, gameplay, I haven’t had a bad experience. But my main beef is this… why do I want to grind all this much for boss cards when I MIGHT play with them once or twice?

It’s crazy how they managed to neglect the rest of the game and still manage to fuck up the one part they’re putting all of the work towards

I got very lucky and pulled a bunch of the good 99s out of free packs as I’m NMS. So I didn’t mind the content because I got lucky. But the xp reward path is ridiculous. I’ve played 40+ ranked games. A ton of event games and have finished every program and most of TA and I don’t have a single boss. And on top of that gameplay has been terrible. With good swings being outs and bad swings being hits. So for me if they fix two things in S2 the game is in a much better state.

I feel like they released too many pack cards In S1. Seemed like every card lost its resale value within just a couple days.

Only thing I have to complain about is Carlos Santana & switch hitting teams. Only played for about a month now so the game feels fresh still

The lack of stadiums that you can really use on HOF or better is really annoying. Stadiums we play at impact the game way too much in my opinion. Have to play at high elevation stadiums just to have fun on legend.

I think what ruined season 1 for me was good cards in packs. I’m not paying for something that’s gonna get taken away from me. Also offline grinding is ruined and xp is hard to get for someone who works and can only play 2 days a week but for limited hours on those days.

I think this game is a solid 5-6/10 if season 2 goes well it could be a very solid game I do play a lot but I got buddy’s who don’t and are still competitive with there team

Season one has been pay to play if you want to get good cards. If your luck is like mine you still wont get the good cards because you always pull low tier. I think I pulled 1 top tier card. Also the exp leveling was hella slow. Didnt really get anything for grinding and playing so its made the game less enjoyable. I know a lot of people didnt like last seasons version but to me it was better than the season 1 of 24. Guess Ill just have to see how Season 2 goes. Its a short season so Im wondering how tough they are going to make it. I would have loved to have got one of the season 1 bosses but didnt really come close.

Season 1 was decent but not great. I haven’t spent a single dime on the game and I’ve made 200 plus thousand by just grinding playing cpu for fun.

Honestly my only complaint is they desperately need more player licenses. They give us pipeline minor leaguers because they don’t have the legends anymore.

Their were too many 99 overalls they tricked us and made us think that like the whole 1st season would be 85 to 90 overalls and season two would be 91 to 95 overalls so that we would have 99 overalls content is season 3 they just jumped ahead to fast in my opinion because now they are back to where they were last year having to make the same cards over again.
