I bought mine 2020 and have carried it every day . Went on vacation and carried it opened a few beers and lots of Mexican pop . Made a whole tool kit around this knife a Altoids tin with 21 bits and pliers Leatherman or knipex Cobra xs. Streamlight stylus pro been carrying since 2019 . Craftsman 1/4 bit ratchet and extension . Spare blades in a plastic case and malco fit bit . I work in a repair field..

I carry this and the litle Knipex Cobra. The altoids tin is a good idea. I've got a bunch of Skoal 'tins' that I keep for small parts, I should use one for bits.

It's now $10 in a 2 pack (2nd knife is smaller) on clearance at HD. Shows as $20 in the app but rings up as $10

I usually carry an utility knife when I'm remodeling. but I'd rather have the traditional slide in and out feature, but the added bit adapter and the sturdy feel of the blade is worth the purchase.

The ball bearing can pop out if you over torque when using screwdriver. The metal ring which holds the ball bearing in place is not a super strong weld, I would rather it be magnetic, despite you may lose the bit.

ToughBuilt made an alternative with a magnet, it’s really bad in my opinion, though a better magnet option is certainly possible.

I got my hands on one that was used. Beat up actually. (Work) I put JB Weld on the screwdriver bit about 2 years after I got it but it wasn’t even needed. Was loose when I got it. Easily the most durable knife I own.

Only issue I have with it is the ball bearing falling out of the 1/4 drive. It happened about 2 weeks after purchasing. Amazing knife though

Guys, do you have an issue about blade on the inner side getting dull due to slams from opening and closing? This seems to be a design defect and I am not sure if anyone else had this issue.

Hmm, HD online shows the model w/o the ball bearing on the bit socket. I need to go into HD and see for myself.

I bought mine some time ago just for double bit function but i lost it and now im trying to get a new one. On web i found only one from Wiha but it cost as much as new knife. Milwaukee replied me that any 1/4 bit will fit, but i need original double end not any. Without this function this knife is just another one among many. Can anyone tell me how to get it and why its so difficult?

Unfortunately the product code is the same, so its Milwaukee has made it impossible to tell which is which

There are probably many molds for this so the mold being different isn’t a new vs old thing. There may have always been 16 molds, replacing them after a certain number of injections and unrelated to other features such as the ball bearing.

Just got my 6n1 taken from TSA... blades removed. Was told "because the way it looks"

TSA reserves the right for final decision, however, I have argued (calmly and respectfully) that there is no blade, and the driver tool is under 7 inches, per TSA rules it should be allowed.

That sucks. After showing them that they are not following their own rules I would have complied but I would have snapped it broken before handing it over haha did that with a Leatherman squirt once. Those bastards are just gonna keep it anyways might as well give it to em broke

The new "improved" bit holder is even worse, the ball falls out and renders it useless. The quality of the bit itself has also gotten worse, the phillips head shattered under normal use. After going thru 3 of them in less than a year, I can see why they sell so many... because they're crap! Step it up Milwaukee!

🧐 the knife is removable my guy, i’ve carried it multiple times on planes, it’s compliant, i’ve also had it reviewed many times by an agent, and I always get it through.
