Today we play the Engineer in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor and use every single turret and drone in the game for our build. While the inital plan was to upgrade all of them equally, one got lucky and receive a bunch of major and broken upgrades, leading to the first weapon reaching level 20+ and nuking bosses left and right.

i feel like the walking upgrade is a trap, and the tesla coil fence is actually amazing especially if you jsut run away and kite them through, actually insane damage also you can spawn the final boss yourself if you have killed all teh eggs.

the Coil Fence is nice for some AoE, but more so when you get the Overclock that all XP/Materials near the towers are collected. Which becomes important and handy later on when you need all the XP and levels

The Tesla turrets main strength is its overclock where it picks up exp. Doing that you can collect way more than normal on the higher tier maps.

gameplay is fun my only gripe is that every map has the same boss with the same mechanics. hopefully they add a lot to this game over time. still a fun game though.

the tesla coil fence with the exp collecting upgrade is insane. Also, it was electrical damage, making the potential output of the build even higher when picking the pure electrical damage upgrades. Great video as always!

The tesla is so nice to just get to 6 for the xp/materials collection overclock. They're always trailing you so it makes it so you almost never have to double back for xp.

fyi, Krakatoa come from a volcano in indonesia. it is famous for being the second biggest volcanic eruption in history, it is estimated to be 200 Megaton of TNT, or 13.000x little boy nuclear yield. but if krakatoa is the second who is the first? of course also from indonesia again, it is Mt. tambora erupt in 1815

hey Dex! i just found out this recently, but i think Sammy might be the most broken character on VS! why? use him w/o limit break, get first arcana "Silent Old Sanctuary", then buy from the merchant "Disco of Gold", then get from a floor arcana chest "Wicked Season". results may be different, but you can easily reach 10k levels, and over 200M gold. and if you manage to get the 4th arcana chest, get "sarabande of healing", the damage goes up insanely high.

Dex the Teslatowers are good you can get upgrade that makes them pick up your exp.

The 150% firerate for the lmg turrets can bei pretty nice with the mining upgrade. Walls are geting destroyed instantly and they basically mine the whole map for you 😂. I also did a turret run yesterday and it was INSANE!

plasma mining turrets with 150% fire rate increase is bonkers. You just focus on Gold while mining and damage for gold and win.

If Hazard level one is rustling your jimmies, then oh man, are you in for a harsh one when you start hitting the 3rd or even 4th hazard level :D That said, i do enjoy destroying and ripping apart hazard level 1 just to unlock overclocks and such, so can't really fault you for that :)

Experience bonuses are super OP only on the first stage. Not good for later stages. Armor is actually huge as well

You can just attack the boss egg to spawn him on level 5, no need to wait around if you want to finish the level.

the mining turrets are awesome, you can mine out the entire stage with them. makes the boss fight so easy

I personally don't bother with the mining turrets unless I also get chance of gold/red stuff when mining. Then you can get currency to buy upgrades between stages. Otherwise it is meh.

just finished a turret round. with the OP mod that i hjave 150% attackspeed but less accuracy. i had 8 turrets up all the time because of so much reload speed. and all of them had lasers xD i melted the final big boss in stage 5 in like 5 sec. it was almost boring xD

I heard this "turrets drop when you stand still" comment from someone else, but I don't understand what you mean. They seem to drop even while running when I'm playing.

They drop when you stand still, or when the charges are full and they reloaded. So if you run around at full charges (starts with 2) and it reloads, you drop one. If you stand still to e.g. mine, it will drop all that you have charged up.
