You don’t need a 4090. A 4070 is quite fine or the AMD offerings.

Performance 100%. I got an Fractal Pop Air non RGB earlier this year since it looks nice imo plus has hidden drive bays and I would likely keep lights off 99% of the time.

Definitely agree. I don't like RGB and my personal rig does not, apart from motherboard status lights and a pale white power LED on the case, have a single LED or RGB. While a RGB rig with rainbow unicorn vomit everywhere can look spectacular at first glance - certainly eye-catching - it soon starts annoying me. I could never live with an RGB rig long term. With that said though, as someone who builds and sells computers, I know that RGB vomit is immensely popular. Whenever I put up a non-RGB rig for sale I don't even get one tenth as many inquiries as I get for RGB vomit builds. Sad but true.

Haha yeah sometimes when you buy second hand boards from people they don’t have the Io shield any longer. I run into that often and eBay does not always have a replacement to buy. I’m thinking about buying a 3d printer so I can just print one if it’s missing haha

I'd go AM5 with a 7800X3D and a 4090. Got a refurbished Gigabyte card for $1350 on Newegg. Possible to get the top tier stuff and still save big bucks!

this is why i love your content i just built my secondary system which is better then my main sys I7 11700k cpu , aero 4060 ti 16gb gpu , 2 tb ssd os , 32 gb 3600 ram to my main rig r7 5800x, rx 6700xt red devil gpu , 128 gb ram and 3 4 tb ssd nvme drives and 2 10 tb hd's

great content. would like to see what the best over the top spec build would be. its easy to spend alot of $$$ on RGB and that could be something the winner does down the road to customize the pc to how they would want it to be.

I don't particularly want to move to Florida but with Facebook Marketplace deals like that I might reconsider, lol. Holy effing crap, those are amazing deals, both the motherboard and CPU combo and the GPU. The cheapest 1660 Super on FB Marketplace in my area right now is 110 dollars.

Yeah $100 is what I usually see here, but I always see if they will take $60 and don’t expect them to say yes. I always think they will counter with $90 or $80 but this dude just said sure. I was at his door in the next 10 min haha. Had to get that one. This place is hot but good for the pc parts haha

I rather have the raw power then the Pleasing looks. If I can run my program applications smoothly without glitching, I'll take that over looks everytime. You can always upgrade the looks at the later time.

If I won a 4090 and i9 1300k definitely I would go into KZfaq and start steaming. Life definitely would change for me. This build is awesome though for 500$ looks beautiful.

Yeah it’s unfortunate. Nothing I can do if the seller does not have it. And I don’t want to not pick up a deal because if something small like a IO. In the future I want to get a 3d printer so I can make a Io if I need one 😉

My head says go for the pure performance for the giveaway build but as someone who has finally moved their PC from under their desk, looking good is just as important. So my vote goes to the looks awesome but with slightly lower specs build.

Have you ever had a issue with the, Teamgroup T-Force Vulcan ram? I bought a 32 gig kit here about 6 months ago for my daughter's computer and it went bunk on her here about a week ago. It was on a z390 tomahawk and it wouldn't post and it was given the DRam light and sure enough I bought some of the Patriot basic ram off of Amazon and it lit right up..

Very interesting, I have not had any issues with there ram. Was the speed different with the sticks? It could have been a compatibility issue. Like your board would not accept that ram speed? But sense it worked to begin with there could have been a update that took place and now your bios needed to be updated? Hard to troubleshoot with out having the pc in front of me 😂 glad the ram swap worked after though. Did you get your money back from the t-force sticks?

loving the builds BUT really got to get away from those i5's, see on every i5 build the cpu being at 100% with gpu much lower, for the cost of an i7 you get so much more performance

I completely agree, and that would be the rout I took if these computers were for me. But as these are flip computers the cost is the enemy. Using what you have is important and I put stronger gpus in the systems because the gpu is generally what sells a pc.

@@ThePcRehab oh i get it, i flip them all the time, but that extra cost can go on the system as the performance is then higher. especially going back to the quad core i5's, having the i7 of that gen is a selling point. im always doing £300-400 builds with 4790/6700 paired with 980ti's/1070s ect, same gpu with i5 sell sub £250 where i am

It can be a nice boost in performance but you have to make sure that your motherboard and cpu support sli or crossfire to get the benefits of it because you will need a sli or crossfire bridge for the two gpus to connect them together

this is the best PC build that you have done till now. A lot of people like white PC build but I prefer black ones and that blue touch really blows my mind for giveaway PC I prefer performance build over aesthetic build
