Your channel is the one that I reference every time I truly want to learn something. Being a poor person, a lot of your advice has paid off, and I can't say thank you enough. My square bills, either rattles or silent have caught a ton of fish from the bank. I appreciate your humble attitude and your honesty. You don't push ANY one brand on your followers, and that's a turn off, thank you.

They have big time switched to chasing bait around here too. Almost overnight. That 2.5 and whole squarebill series is just a great option. I can only imagine how hard your lake is getting hit.

You can hear me mumble in the video right before I caught the first fish because I had another boater coming right into my area. At first, I thought he was going to veer off into a side pocket I rarely fish but he saw me catch that fish, lol. Within a few seconds, he was right on top of me to see what I was doing. But fortunately, he moved on and let me have the area. It's nice to see on the water etiquette is not totally lost!

Thanks for the great tip. This happened to me just a few days ago. I saw baitfish fleeing and threw a popper but got no bite. I will try a crankbait next time.

I don't really go after suspending fish. I'm usually throwing a pop r or a ned rig. I always thought they were hard to catch and fishing is hard enough! 😅

I fish a drop shot if I want to go above the bottom. Nothing better than a gulp minnow or a trick worm.

Most fish I catch are usually just below the surface. Those are the easiest ones for me to get to bite my jig

If I see suspended bass then a Roboworm on a drop shot is money. If they look more active, then a flutter spoon can get nice bites. Agreed that bass mood and pressure are the biggest factors.
