so, if you drop an item, and pick it up again ( like the Flameblade in the stream )that will put the item at the last slot of your inventory, so an example is if you drop the Hylian shield and pick it up again, it requires less offset slots to reach it, ( the only exception is if you do this trick with bows, you have to cover you shield tab and with weapons you have to cover both shields and bows ( with arrow slots ) )
