📝 Ingredients:
1 lb wide egg noodles
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 quart chicken broth (low sodium preferred)
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 chicken bouillon cube (optional; replace with additional broth if desired)
1 stick unsalted butter
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, finely chopped, for garnish
1 small onion, finely diced
½ cup heavy cream (optional, for extra richness)
1 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for added umami and creaminess)
🍲 Preparation Steps:
Bring the chicken broth and bouillon cube to a boil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced onion; boil for 2-3 minutes.
Add noodles, stirring to prevent sticking. Return to a boil.
Stir in cream of chicken soup, and heavy cream if using, until well combined. Return to a boil, then cook for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in unsalted butter until melted, and add Parmesan cheese and thyme.
Cover and let sit for 20 minutes off the heat, allowing noodles to absorb the flavors and sauce to thicken.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, stir well.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.

Hey- another idea.. I think a bench scraper would help u transfer foods to different vessels..especially when you are outside...I use mine all the time..

Looks great! It's to bad that you were out of thyme because I find thyme really does elevate any white sauce. Honestly I love fresh thyme so much more than dried. It gives that freshness with a slight peppery and sweet earthy punch , it's just good. Love your channel it's fun and honestly informative.

So once a liquid comes to a boil u turn the heat down and let it simmer which is a low boil...where it's barely bubbling

Dave IMO maybe you should have turned down your flame. CHAT said simmer. You had a rapid boil. Simmer was correct. Simmer is a slight boil with steam releasing from the sides. Rolling boil, boiled down your liquid But looks good

This is another case of so-called "revolutionary" AI pulling things out of its rear end🤣. My changes would be to first saute the onions and garlic in a tablespoon of oil until starting to turn translucent. Then add the wet ingredients and allow them to mix and get hot. THEN add the noodles. The thyme is ok but the parsley is a must.
