Hidden in the microverse all around you, there is a merciless war being fought by the true rulers of this planet, microorganisms. Amoebae, protists, bacteria, archaea and fungi compete for resources and space. And then there are the strange horrors that are viruses, hunting everyone else. Not even being alive, they are the tiniest, most abundant and deadliest beings on earth, killing trillions every day. Not interested in resources, only in living things to take over. Or so we thought.
It turns out that there are giant viruses that blur the line between life and death - and other viruses hunting them.

@@eVill420 what if tons are released into your bloodstream so that when inflammation occurs the giruses flood out too? or maybe incorporating them as a part of the immune system by having the mucus glands also make the giruses safely and incorporate them into the mucus lining the nose
@eVill420
@eVill420 Жыл бұрын
@@Jermain-cz4bh maybe it's possible, but I don't think the Giruses would infect them fast enough, it probably take a few hours for the virus to incubate in the amoeba, giving them enough time to multiply and still kill you. if you somehow injected them in the early stages though, that would work

actually there is scp-439, the bone hive. But that is based on a earwig that enters your body and produces abnormal bone growth so you become a immobile living hive for them. They eat some of your organs but keep the rest alive and functioning so you provide heat, protection from outside and, sometimes, they use your digestive track to pre-process their food and make it into a nutrient rich slurry....

How do things without a brain move in reaction to something without it being a chemical reaction
@hollyjaw3303
@hollyjaw3303 2 жыл бұрын
Because classifying things is stupid at its core. I mean, it's very useful, but when you look at it every living thing is just a marginal variation from another one. All the marginal variations make complexity. So it appears that a flower is something completely different from a giraffe (and it is), so you can classify them. But considering time and numbers, it's all about marginal variations. We think at life like it's a mathematical discrete group, but it's more like a mathematical continuous group

@@YourPhysicsSimulator I see comments everywhere like " *Oh just give me hate, my goal is to be the most hated youtuber* " . Bruh. Looks like maybe 50K people do this same thing for some reason expecting actually be the most hated. Whats the point? They will not win anything.

It honestly sounds like the plot of some Sci-Fy movie/story. Its like Life wanted to be its own thing, so Nature gave it the ability to life. But at the same time, the Universe wanted everything to be the same, so it made viruses to make everything return to being very dead. At least, that's my take on viruses and cells. EDIT: Found this channel back in 2012, and have kept up with it since. I love your videos, and they never fail to make me want more. I love what yall do.

I love that Kurzgesagt has become more information packed. It's still relatively simple, but there is more detail for people who are not absolutely at the basics! I think Kurzgesagt is just getting better!
