@@shanti3778 last time I played was when I became a mum, but I just started to play with my friends at the local university, and even though I’m 20 years their senior they have to work to keep up!! I absolutely feel my best on the court!!

If someone’s interested in the closure of this game, Brazil won this point against Korea, but ended up losing the match. They eventually grew in the competition after this game and won the gold medal at the 2012 olympics.

I'm pretty sure they changed the rules recently. Hits with your feet or legs weren't counted as legitimate saves, but now they are.

I had no idea they were allowed to kick the ball in volleyball. I remember as a kid playing volleyball in school and we weren't allowed to kick the ball. Must be nice 🤣

ppl typically say to not kick volleyballs bc you’ll break the inside but in a game you can hit the ball with any part of your body you just can’t hit it upwards with a flat palm

@@l.c.8798 It may depend on where you played. Where I played, kicking the volleyball was allowed but it usually did not work out well which gave the other team the point so we generally try to avoid kicking it at all costs.

In volleyball as long as the ball makes contact with a part of the body it’s legal. You just can’t hold it. This reminds me of that haikyuu moment where the Libero saves it with his foot because he can’t move his body fast enough. Really cool!

@@RGY33 They mean: one person can kick the ball, but if the ball goes wild, then ANOTHER person can't kick it again to try and keep the ball in play. Same set of rules for the other team. Essentially: kick it once, don't kick it again until it's over the net

What are y'all talking about, most athletic people play all sorts of sports until they find one they like the most or can pay college with. She CLEARLY played soccer, the fact that's she's Brazilian is even more proof. Saying she's never played soccer is like saying an American has never played basketball or ate a hotdog in their life.
