I didnt find many games unfortunately, but i did find an extremely rare jurassic park standee from the original movie. Super rad weekend of hunting!

I know you said that it doesn't need to be video game related but my best garage sale find is a video game system. I found a brand new NES Control Deck. The boxes back then were not sealed so I can't say that it was sealed but I know it was brand new from the story the seller told me and the condition of the system inside. The manual was stuck in the cover of the styrofoam when I pulled it off from static electricity and all the plastic bags and everything inside was never touched or opened. Got that for $150.00, worth over $3k at least.

That's a pretty cool Jurassic park VHS standee & very hard to find complete. Shame it didn't come with the motor for the doors that slots in between the 2 fold out flaps next to the battery power supply. Also looks like you only have the header & are missing the bottom parts. What you got would sit on top of the display & the bottom would have be on an angle to display the VHS tapes. That's why the bottom of the header is on an angle & not flat. A very good find indeed. 🦕

My best garage sale finds in the past few years have been a glass IKEA display case for $10 last summer and a Wii U bundle with an awesome selection of games & accessories back in 2021 for $50. She originally wanted $150 but then found out the game pad was broken so gave everything to me for $50. Made most of that back if not more trading in the games I didn’t want and some accessories like a Mario wii mote. Had to put about $80 or $90 into a new game pad but was still a great deal and included some great games like Zelda Windwaker.

Not video game related, but the best deal i went to Maxville, ON for a town garage sale, and there was a large diamond art of Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night (my all-time favourite masterpiece). I know those things aren't cheap. They were asking $2 for it, sealed, so obviously i got it. Looked it up when i got home. I saved $58

I think there's more to the jurassic park display. Probably another box that has the part yours attaches to, with the motor that opens the door and maybe has sound for the t Rex. The door part you showed on the back has the eye hook for something to slide into, Probably a small piece of metal that would rotate, and open and close the doors. Maybe there is a motion sensor that allows it to go off infront of someone. Or it just opens and closes non stop

If there is more, I definitely didn't get it, and I don't think they even had it. They never mentioned another box or anything, and there definitely isn't room in the box I got for anything extra

That flier idea is something I had never considered. I don't really have a "plan" when I go garage sale shopping. Just like to see if there's anything fun available. One that comes to mind was an American Idol karaoke machine that I bought for $15. Don't know if it even works, I just thought it was amusing to own it.

Mine is a UNICORN Japanese slot machine with classic rolling drums. Seller said it wouldn't work when they plugged it in. Sold it to me for $25. Took it home and flipped a few switches inside. Works just fine.

Nice score coop!!! I must say I think that display there’s more to it. Did you totally empty the box it came in? Seems like the doors should open on their own? Super cool still and very very rare. The other scores were great too

Iv had many many great finds bare in mind this is uk so here it's mainly carboots but here a few I remember a gamecube lot I paid £30 for was worth £500 I found resident evil ps1 sealed for a £1 legend of dragoon ps1 for £1 not long back I bought 3 new 3ds in boxes very good condition the women said she bought em for her 3 kids all of them didn't like them I got them for £100 but trust me it's getting harder and harder but if you put the work in there mega deals still out there

Test them to sell? You don’t need to. Unless the figure is physically destroyed, 99.9% of them are perfectly working.
