Hi from England I have been a FAN of Tom since the mid 1970's. He just has "EVERYTHING" and you all know what I mean. We can all say WHAT IF OR IF ONLY looking back with HINDSIGHT but could you imagine IF TOM AND ELVIS WERE ON STAGE TOGETHER. THE SCREAMS FROM THE CROWD would be so CRAZY you would not HEA THEM. Tom around 1970 ish on A TV SPEICAL in America sang LOVE MACHINE. The video of it. ALL I CAN SAY IS ELECTRIFYING how he managed to get those BELL BOTTOM TIGHT and i MEAN TIGHT FIGURE hugging trousers ON LET ALONG OFF and the high heeled shoes and the colourful BLOUSON SHIRT. I really enjoyed your comments on this video. Very insightful. I subscribed to your channel. Tom is a national treasure and a coalminer’s son, not a coal miner himself. He couldn’t go down the mines because he contracted TB at 12 years old and spent 2 years in bed recovering. He has had an amazing career and when he made enough money, he had his dad retire from the mines. He looked after his parents ,bought them houses , vacations etc.

Love your reaction! I mentioned on a few channels of ones listening to this song that I was around when tom appeared on American tv and he was an instant hit over here. Both black white and brown women fell in love with his singing...then he spoke with that British accent and that made it even better because he sounds so American when he sings...if that makes sense! Glad you enjoyed it and hope to recommend some great songs for you in the future.
