When my now husband found me, I was just out of a really abusive relationship and my ex was still haunting me - i was afraid of the door knocking. he could have passed up on me, but he didnt, he picked up every broken piece and slowly slowly mended my broken heart. He took my son as his own. When a man loves a women he takes them how they are, the baggage they come with and affords them the love, patience and kindness to heal and be themselves. 10 years together now and still love like we did the first time we met.

OMG!!! Home Free just keeps getting Better and Better with each new performance, and Austin Brown absolutely owns this great Percy Sledge song! Consider too, with this Pandemic, it was created in the virtually world! This Pandemic may have actually helped them focus to carry them to a new level of excellence! To all those saying this is a Michael Bolton song, I say, “Michael who???” This has always been a Percy Sledge song! He wrote it on the spot in 1966 at one of his gigs after his girlfriend left him for his best friend. It was originally titled: "Why Did You Leave Me Baby." However, after a rewrite of a few of the lyrics, the song was released as: “When a Man Loves a woman.” What a great tribute to the Legend of - Percy Sledge!

And just to think this was done during quarantine. This was all recorded separately from their individual homes, then sent off to their producer to put it all together. I think these guys have done some of their best work during this quarantine.

Austin has been holding out on us. Who knew he had THIS in him. In all the other songs it was yeah that's where he has to be, or, is he topped out? Here he just kept on climbing and climbing, elegantly soaring over those high notes with power and passion and never once making you feel that this is where he tops out. How in all that is holy do they manage to surprise us with their growth every time?! The ebb and flow of those harmonies, lovingly embracing Austin's vocals, and the beat just putting the cherry on top. This is one of those renditions that you will always hear fresh every time you hear it in the years to come. THIS WAS EPIC.

Be sure to watch Austin's solo work and Les Miserables is incredible where Austin lets loose doing the solo of Bring Him Home in live performance. When you are at the live shows (#6 for us so far) h really lets it all go, high as you can hear, he wails the best of anyone (per Rob!) I love his passion and soul from the heart in this.

They picked the perfect one for the solo. Like a judge on SING OFF said, "THE BOY CAN BLOW" You can tell when he sings , that he's having a good time.

I've only heard Man Of Constant Sorrow by HF, need to check out more. Percy Sledge first recorded this one, I think in the mid 60s, but heard on radios' Oldies channel later. Love this cover & the reaction.

I feel like this song was written for Austin to kill it. Because he sho nough put it in it's grave. I love it when Home Free delivers a song better than the "original artist." In my humble opinion this is just another in a long list of songs they've done that with.
