Spo doesn't run out of ideas. For them to have a chance on this series he made Herro a facilitator a Steve Nash kind of thing who can shoot combined with playmaking. Herro really made Celtics tired of chasing him. There are many times Celtics had difficulty in guarding Herro and that they overreact by guarding him and Tyler did a good job on passing it to the open guys. He got 14-20 assisted shots that means all of his passes are high percentage of going to score. Herro is playing a role of Jimmy of doing everything scoring and passing on a different way obviously. I think this is a gamechanger and a scary thing for Boston. Even if Rozier came back Spo will still play Herro as PG and a playmaker and that Rozier would even help on spacing and more 3 pt threat. Herro usually force his shots, but on this series he uses his time and moves around the court and make the right pass. This is a winning play that Nash and the Suns became unstopablle on his time, the Suns with Nash is unstoppable on their threes and Heat knwos they need to adjust on a series knowing they don't have the playmaking or a threat like Butler. Herro is big threat that Boston need to solve and adjust and I doubt if they can since Mazulla hasn't do well on making adjustment in game or after the game. Spo gambles and noted a sign on the presscon that if those 3's were not falling it would become game 1 again. It's a sign that the Heat would shoot as many more 3's every game and he encourage his team to shoot more 3's and let Herro make some plays. It's a shocker that all players of Miami shoot 3's with no hesitation. Jovic, Jacquez, Highsmith, Martin, Herro, Wright, Robinson has made at least a 3 pointer and they are shooting with confidence. It's pretty clear that Spo wanted his team to shoot more 3's for them to beat the talented Boston. That's the only way they can beat this talented team. Spo definitedly outsmarted Mazulla again. Game 3 is a big game for both teams.

the way i see it is Miami had to have a historic shooting night to beat the Cels by just 10. Obviously Celtics should have handled their business but how many times is Miami gonna have crazy shooting nights like this?

As a celtic fan, the heat played with great defensive effort and shot really really well, but they have now done so 4x shooting over 50% against us from 3 in the playoffs, while no other team has done it more than once against the same opponnent! At what point do the Celtics adjust their defensive strategy? With no jimmy, no t ro, the heat are really lacking halfcourt creators/scorers. Even with those guys they were bottom half offense all season, the only chance the heat have is going nuclear from 3, yet we still keep giving them up? I would make them all drivers and let me see tyler herro and caleb martin score in the paint consistently over portzingis and horford. They literally had 5 made baskets at the rim in game 2. They are undersized, let them finish over bigs, not dare them to shoot 3s.... I have to blame mazulla for his lack of adjustments, he seems to stay with his same system and plays the numbers, but this isnt an 82 game regular season, this is small sample size 4-7 game series.

You know whats worse then this loss? Joe and J's after game interviews. Like cmon about what kinda good 3point shot contests are you talking about. 2/3 of Miami 3s where simply wide open :D

It wasn't a bad game for the celtics the heat just played better defense they forced them into tough shots and as a player you'll live with him making a tough shot but heat culture contests every shot
