Still can remember the emegsnce of Stuart Pearson and scoring against Birmingham City on edge of the box. Now a regular at Cambridge United, interest rekindled with City's first Premier League promotion otion

The best and biggest stadium in the city by a country mile. All the biggest crowds the city has ever seen where there. Plus some of the most famous footballers in the World played on that award winning pitch. But what do we have in its place today? No civic blue plaque of recognition, no remembarance garden to those who ashes were scattered on the pitch. No respect shown. Except for a few losely named streets on the new housing estate. Shamefull.

What a place, wasn't the same after they pulled the north stand down but it still had a soul the new stadiums don't.
